2011 - New Year in Gaming

This year is looking to be one of the best yet. A blockbuster for every type for the gamers are being released this year.

Just a couple in the list are enough to making the gamers in all of us jizz in our pants.

Mass Effect 3
The Elder Scrolls V
Marvel vs Capcom 3 (OVER 10 FUCKING YEARS IN THE MAKING)
Uncharted 3

And these are just a couple of the big names set for release.

If you can't find something you want/have to play this year. Then you might as well just shoot yourself right now.

They missed SW:TOR. And it's not "Oblivion V", it's TES V: Skyrim, just as Oblivion is TES IV: Oblivion.

At any rate, Shogun 2: Total War, Portal 2, SW:TOR and Skyrim is on top of my list.

Mass Effect 3 and MVC 3
The two games I am looking forward to.

Same. Mass Effect 3 is obvious so many ways.

And MvC3 because it took over 10 years for it come out. I've been playing MvC2 for the past like 6 years. The first game I've played when I first went to an arcade, and I haven't stopped playing it since.

Though the new Elder Scrolls and Uncharted intrigues me too. Fucking god fucking damn. I'm going to be so broke during the Holiday season cause every blockbuster game comes out around that time. Fuck.

So Rage is confirmed for 2011, interesting. Though I would rather it be Doom 4.

Catherine, Mass Effect 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 3 for me.

ME2 was a let down, so not even going to bother with ME3. I hope Skyrim won't follow the same way. Fallout 3 was worse than Oblivion imo, and New Vegas to me was nothing more than a re-selling of FO3. Hopefully Bethesda won't disappoint since they're going back to the Elder Scrolls world.

Portal 2 and Uncharted 3? Hell yes.

Woah woah woah, back the fuck up. Really? They went too far in removing team customisation, amps etc, the loyalty mission system was a bit pointless and the resource scanning was annoying, but almost everything else improved: more dialogue which also flowed better, better combat, more interesting missions, Paragon and Renegade actions, no Mako and its tedious combat/exploration, and a more adult game in general. It's near enough unrivalled as a cinematic experience. :(
