360 or PS3

thanks people, i ended up going down the PlayStation 3 route..... Sony for life i guess.... (besides it came with some free games: GOD OF WAR 3 and UNCHARTED 2)

PS3, Tho I generally prefer my PC.

As a tales fan, I went and purchased a PS3, not because the PS3 is a better system, but just what Gambles said, it's the games that makes the console look good, although I still prefer the XBOX 360 due to it's interface and also it's XBOX live. At least it did not get hacked unlike the PSN but if it's for free, then there's not much to complain, yes?

PS3 has a better library of exclusives and more in general than the 360. Uncharted 2 defined an age of gaming for both the 360 and PS3 and is generally considered one of the games that leans more towards perfection. All in all the console war that you will find all over the internet is summed up as nothing but loyalty. The controller conversation is a moot point because either way you're going to get used to them and for FPS's you can buy a mouse and keyboard for console. I'll say PS3 for the simple fact that there is a 500 GB version or 320 GB. You can't go wrong either way my friend although PS3 has a free MMO, not of the highest quality but fun nonetheless.

P.S. For those that didn't know Xbox Live has gotten hacked before, multiple times, I'm just saying folks.

One thing I wish the PS3 would have is more users. Here in NA, for games like COD and Street Fighters, xbox 360 is still the go to. As a result of that, the connectivity and skill level is generally higher on XBL. It's not so much a problem for COD since there's a ton of people playing anyways, but the lack of players for less main stream games like SF can be very noticeable. I hate joining lobbies from people on the East coast when I'm on the west coast... especially when they have a slow internet.

I suggest you get ps3 and wait for 1-2 year/s after the release of ps4. Sony has a habit of going into a slump when they release their handhelds/consoles. I bought my ps3 and psp on the same month it released and I have to wait a long while before the big titles came in and the same thing is happening to Vita. My vita is already 7 mos old and still no big titles (except for the upcoming P4G and AC3L).

I've got both so i can't really complain
