3DS: Yay or Nay?

Its all a matter of opinion. It just hasn't caught up yet. And I gotta agree, the price point is a bit much and the lineup hasn't really given the audience something to drop their jaws at. I don't regret my purchase at all I'm just placing myself in the general viewpoint of the system. It's definitely not for everyone just yet. The system has to cater to each game genre for it to be truly worth it to the masses.

I bought one because I know eventually they will release new games from series I like, also the 3DS store, I heard the original pokemon was going to be on there and I was sold.

I have a 3DS and absolutely love it. I'm one of those people that finds something to adore in every console of every brand. The 3DS is unique, sleek, well-designed, easy to navigate and constantly being updated. It has a lot in store for it and I truly believe that when it is in full-force, everyone who said "nay" will be questioning themselves. We shall see.

If you're like me and don't like the 3D on for anything other than cut scenes, the battery life is fine. :)

Haven't owned one yet, but the three friends I know that have it say it had a pretty short battery life. Maybe it's because of that
