A "hard difficulty" game that indeed was BLOODY HARD?

Let's just make one thing clear:
Ninja gaiden is fucking hard but you can do it.
Ninja gaiden 2 is cheap and will make you throw controllers on the wall.

Throwing out DJmax too."You need more practice. Never give it up!"
STFU
Pfft.
I got this shit :
To be serious though, DJ Max is difficult at times, especially DJ Max Black Square for me.
But, the most difficult game as of right now for me on the hardest difficulty is Catherine. Gawd that game is hard, but SO satisfying.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Veteran wasn't the dificult but High Mile Club is a fucking bitch to do)
Actually, if you know the proper strategy for the level, it becomes rather easy to do. I got it on my 5th playthrough. Stupid mistakes set me back a couple of times, but I eventually got it without too much trouble.

The 'Master Mode' difficulty in Gitaroo Man.
Some crazy finger work, and you need very good hand and eye coordination.

Call of Duty: World at War. First off, there was absolutely nowhere where you could hide from a grenade, sometimes you were practically running on a cluster of live grenades as you tried to get to cover. Also, you die in about 4 hits on its hardest difficulty, and every enemy targets you, first priority.

WoW is more cheap than hard. Take out the stupid grenade spam, and it would be a lot easier.

Really demon souls? That game is easy unless you decide to shift your world tendency to Pure black. Tower of latria is the only world I hate because of the Octopus men. Man eater is a joke with the "Wait and strike" strategy .
On topic: Vanquish on God hard mode and Sin and punishment 2 on Hard mode.

F-Zero GX, man. Those last three missions on the hardest difficulty. I ... I love it.Yup. The hilarious thing is that everyone considers Chapter 2 to be the easiest, and that is still hard as hell. Video games hasn't been the same ever since I played and beat VH Chapter 7 in that game. It's true.

The first inFAMOUS on hard for my first play through. While most of the game wasnt that hard, the only parts I had difficulty with were the prison break in and the fight with Kessler.

I got ts new game called skygunners, and you don't really 'die', but it's money based, get money for every target killed. You lose money when you get hit. You sometimes get into debt while playing on easy. I can't imagine it on the hardest.

When some bloke decided to make 100x100 minesweeper in the university.
My mind was almost literally mind=blown.
Other than that, the only hard game I remember, aside from cheap nade deaths from games like COD, was the first Portal, the 'hard' missions after the single-player campaign. All the realism-based shooters (Metro 2033, Left4Dead, etc) were rather bloody easy for me.

Well, for FF XII, I don't really think there's a difficulty, but there is apart in the game that is the freaking pinicle of evil. You can do these hunts, and the strongest one, Yaizmat, which is, by far, the strongest creature in any of the FF series. The thing has over 15 million HP, caps your damage at 6,999, and will have a 5% chance of instant death each strike. That's considering that you don't die from just one hit. It is know that this thing will take over an hour of strait fighting just to beat, and that's with all characters lvl's maxed out.
