A "hard difficulty" game that indeed was BLOODY HARD?

Well, any Touhou game above "Normal" difficulty...

One that I found bloody horrible was MW2 on Veteran. The difficulty just gets worse the further you go...

Devil May Cry 3 and 4, Heaven or Hell. 1 hit kills you.

bloody hard difficult but immensely satisfying. even more so during boss battles.

Record of Agarest War, that shit was on easy and it pisses me off. The CoD games on veteran are just stupid hard when you die in 3 hits and enemies have 100% accuracy and always know where you are.

*except for masochistic "games" like "I wanna be the Guy" that is unfairly difficult. I like fair challenge, not some "Trial and Error difficulty"

I came to the conclusion EVERYONE HATES CoD difficulty. Personally, I didn't found it all that bad.

I played Record of Agarest War (im playing "Agarest Zero" right now) and I founded difficult only until the 3rd Generation, after I lerned the "SP farming" technique and in my party I had Leonharhd, the dessendants and Dyshanna, I finished all my fights (the big ones) with "U-Formation"

Yeah I planned on beating Agarest before Zero came out (which I'm stuck on NOW....) and I was held back for alike a week because of with Thoma, he was such a DICK. I didn't get the true ending, so the "good" I got was rather disappointing, I want to play it again to get the true ending though.

OT Minesweeper is pretty hard, stumps my ass all the time...

BTW, JRPG doesn't count because *GRIND* *NO DIRECT CONTROL* *and otherwise it isn't depend on your skill*

After deciding to crack it open again after a couple of months, I remembered how much trouble I had with Uncharted. Both of them. Uncharted 2 wasn't that bad, but Uncharted 1 was a pain because enemies had regenerative health, so it became nearly impossible to kill anyone in a large or prolonged firefight unless you had grenades because it was too risky to stay out of cover for more than a couple of seconds. And in both games, enemies had perfect accuracy with grenades; they would fall directly between your feet if you were in the open, or it would land right on your character while you were taking cover.

Any fighting game on the hardest difficulty, especially SNK.

God of War, well, only one area per game, but it they turn out to be BS in each game. From the conveyor belt and clone fight in GOW1, the suicide run in GOW2, the Cerberus Breeder in GOW3 and the 4-5 Geryons (enemies with electric ball) in GOS. Those sections in the game were insanity.

EDIT: As Winter55 stated, about GOW1 in God mode, I should have said that all of these games in the hardest difficulties.

you forgot God Mode of GOW1, it was hell all through out.

Demons Souls(made me crush a glass cup in my hand with orange juice in it, which hurt like hell. Why the fuck was I even playing first thing in the morning anyways?)

Any Star Ocean bonus dungeon(Seriously, the lifetime wasted conquering these dungeons rapes all)
