I've played 4, 5, 0, and 6. Four was alright, as was 6. 0 was cool for the Ace gauge, but they all fell short of 5. 5 just has an unbeatable storyline and main theme that is just total win.

First taste of Ace Combat was AC6 loved it.
Currently trying to unlock all the assault records and such.
Great multiplayer too.
Anyone have a favourite jet? I personally have flown pretty much all my missions in the F-2A IDOLMASTER Ami.

Anyone have a favourite jet?My favorite is from AC5; the Falken. Omg that thing owns so much. I absolutely love the cockpit view, I always play in that camera setting.

My Favorite craft in terms of performance and looks (so generally fake planes) is a tie between the CFA-44 'Nosferatu' from Ace Combat 6 and the X-02 'Wyvern' from 5 .
Favorite actual craft is the F/A-18EF 'Super Hornet'. Combines fly by wire with an actual measure of skill needed (Unlike the F-22), and still looks sexy.

Love Ace Combat. Can't pick a favorite, but played 4, 5, and 6. Not a fan of the cutscenes, but everything going on during the battles is amazing. The radio chatter, the smoke trails, the action, the music, it all works together so well. I love good music in games, and Ace Combat has some really good music.
Ace Combat 4 was my first, and I remember getting chills of how awesome some of the battles were. Assisting ground units and hearing the radio chatter say something like "Look at the emblem on the wings! It's Mobius 1!".

Ace Combat went a Full upgrade when they inserted Squadron Drama and the whole story. :D
Myabe my favorite one was the 5th, since I really felt the "Closeness" of my Squadron
my impression of those pilots from Ace Combat 5

My favorite Ace Combat game would have to be Ace Combat 5 The Unsung War, cause you have a large varity in aircraft selection.
The CFA-44 Nosferatu from Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation is WAY TOO OVER-POWERED. But the CFA-44s ADMM's are diabled in online multiplayer which is a good thing.
My favorite aircraft is the YR-99 Forneus, from Ace Combat X Skie of Deception.

It's a royal bitch to fly, but I like the challenge of using a difficult plane.
