Well, it's not all bad. At least we're getting more bang for our buck. Without trophies, I wouldn't have played the crap out of Uncharted like I did. For such a short game, I got 40 hours out of it thanks to trophies.
I do try to collect trophies (or achievements if I had a 360) only because the OCD par tin me wants to see a 100% in all my games. Meh, I been 100% games before things like that came around so it's nothing new.
People who buy games for the sole purpose of unlocking achievement are losers though. Hell, some people refure to buy awesome games like Valkyria Chronicles and MGS2 just because they lack trophies. Seriously, WTF?
True. I know a few people that bought King Kong simply because it is one of the easiest games to get 1000/1000. That is purely lame. I'm not that bad, but I used to hate anyone that actively took the time to get get perfect, or near perfect scores in games. Now I'm one of them, so hate them I cannot.
As for achievement buddies. I could always use more people to play L4D2 with. Hardly any of my friends have that game and I don't enjoy playing the L4D games with random people online. It very rarely becomes a pleasurable experience.

Considering how much I play L4D and L4D2, I'm not very good either. I still enjoy playing though.
Part of my problem is Versus though. I like playing as the Infected, but royally suck at it, especially the Hunter. I'm a total fail Hunter. ;_;
Anyway, we'll have to get a game set up sometime soon.

My husband helps me out on the acheivements. If I remember correctly, he has around 200k in Gamerscore.

While I think buying a game since its an easy 1k is stupid, I don't see the problem with gamerscore hunting, so long as you keep it legit. Sure its pointless, but there's something satisfying about it. No different than perfect clears, speed runs or high score tables IMO.

We need to get back into some L4D games with people. It was mostly only the PC players because they had an easier time capturing their gameplay, but still. The 360 L4D players need to get our lovin' together.
