Just so you know, if you want a mans game, then play Amnesia: the Dark Descent.
Things not overly long, but you'll be so terrified to go around the corner, it'll keep you occupied for quite some time. that, and the custom stories are pretty good too.

BEWBS! Anyway, since you have Steam RJ have you checked out any of the other free-to-play MMO's besides TF2 that steam has? Also Dungeon Defenders is fairly interesting. Go ahead and friend me on steam if you want to see me derp on TF2. I have it installed but never played it yet lol.

You never played it?
Oh man, you never knew what you're missing out.
And thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to look at it.

Damn, I'm so bored right now.Finished Fallout 3, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Prototype.
I can't find a decent room in Modern Warfare 3.
Same in SF4, that goes to BF3 too.
I got no thing to do. These damn shows on the TV are boring the hell outta' me.
I'm also broke so I can't go to some places.
So, all I got now is my lovely PC, and I can't find any Decent Games.
Every time I type 'Addicting PC games' the results are:
'Go here on Y8 for some addicting games online.'
'Click here for 10, 000+ games available on the web!'
Yahoo! Answers is useless too.
So yeah, I need your help Fakku Citizens.
Be my hero for the day and save me from this hell. ;_;
Um, like MMORPG's are totally the way to go for addicting game play. The big giants are named Star Wars The Old Republic and World of Warcraft. If you want to try a free to play game that's kind of addicting, you could give APB: Reloaded a spin.

As already mentioned, Team Fortress 2 should definitely be on your radar if it isn't already.
For cheaper, more compelling games, I'd say Left 4 Dead and its sequel, Super Meat Boy, Civilization V, Magicka and Pineapple Smash Crew are just a handful of games that I've had difficulty tearing myself away from. Especially Civ V, which is a MASSIVE timesink - you'll hardly notice you've just spent five hours playing the thing. Bring friends, though, for L4D and Magicka, but definitely they're just a handful of hard-to-put-down games I've come across.
You also might want to consider an RPG like Dragon Age, Witcher 2 etc., the sort of story-driven, compelling nature of those games being perfect for extended play. And they tend to last into the 100s of hours, too.
