my friends play wow .... I my self hate it ... recently played it for a few minuets on a free server as much as I've seen .... same game different graphics and story ....

you have yet to TRULY play it ;o WoW actually has skill ROTATIONS @_@ something thats lacking in Aion melee classes (i tried the Aion caster classes and skill usage is "decently varying") but thats about it o.o;; its single button mashing all the way to the end.

You have obviously played past the first 10 levels.

I mean, really? I had more skills than I could keep on a single bar by the time I was 20, and I'm a Templar, as melee as they get. And I assure you, I can't just press one button to win.

I'm debating on getting this game or not.

I'm too lazy to read every single page. I have played WoW before, and I've gotten bored of it quick. If this game is like that, I won't bother getting it. I keep hearing it's 'WoW with wings.' Is this true?

Are they really that similar? For those who play it, what makes it different / what do you like about Aion the most?

actually i made it to 25 on my gladiator, although it was during closed beta =/ so things might have changed but i doubt the changes would be vast. the caster i had only made it to 13 though.

Asmods always run in packs while elyso are always alone in the abyss. That makes shit hard when you start going farther in.

Haven;t logged in awhile. Stopped at level 24. Grindin takes too much time and effort.

At 25 I know the elyos get their first instance at this level. Easy to kill mobs and a lot of them. I think if I remember correctly that when you leave the area with a team 6 you have gained 1.7m xp. Maybe not that much but its a freaking lot. I went 25 to 27 in no time from those. Also gives out great items at the very end. At least on the elyos side you can easily finish the first instance with 3-4 people. 4people without a tank and 3 people with a tank. Obviously need one healer and one sorc for sleeping.

If all else fails you go suicidal and solo elites in there for 100k xp a kill. Freaking great.

...For some reason, I'm seeing "RF" here... Looks like fun. Will be trying this in a com shop coz my com is what you'd call "basura".

...And hopefully, Aion won't have too many (if not no) bugs here, Than bug-infested RF.

the only person who has been consistently and constantly leveling is around 10 levels higher than the rest of us.
this is just not entertaining without anyone around.

I've been playing wow for 5 years (since beta) just quit a few weeks ago,
i think it's been going downhill since BC.
Anyway i bought Aion on the eu release day 25/9 i think it was, and been playing it casually since. Haven't really gotten in to it yet, and I can't decide what to play =) have every class just past lv 10 and a gladiator lv 18. But the graphics sure is sweet.

I guess you guys don't play the eu version so i can't play with you =(
But if there are some eu players here let me know faction and server
maybe we can start something or i can join if you have a guild.
