Aion: A fakku fresh start.

Over the past few months I've been playing quite a few single player games and I'm starting to feel trapped, the content and plot in most games are similar and always seem easy for some reason. The last game that really thrilled me was a MMORPG called Dark Age of Camelot, probably the best player vs player experience I've ever had but sadly the game died for me when the amount of players dwindled and my friends left one by one. I've been searching for something to fill that void, something that will have a well developed player vs player experience and I think I may have found it. The game is not through the open beta (which starts soon) part of the cycle so there is no idea what the end game is really like but as far as I've played I really enjoy the system, I hope it can live up to my expectations. I will cut short quotes from the website to explain some of the key aspects of the game edit: this thread is more to introduce the idea of forming our guild, i know another topic exists. What is Aion? Aion is a visually stunning massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) where your character wields devastating powers and sweeping wings to explore a celestial world of breath-taking beauty and epic adventure. It features cutting-edge imagery, gorgeous environments, and a unique fantasy world. Your character plays a pivotal role in the fate of Atreia, where the enemy is not only the other player faction but a deadly ancient evil as well. Aion is played on a Windows PC with Internet access. The World of Aion Explore the inside of Atreia, a world sundered into two halves, with the chaotic Abyss between them. Aerial Combat Start thinking of online combat in a whole new way. In the skies of Aion, attacks can come from any direction. PvPvE Engage in intense raids and encounters with nonplayer opponents, not to mention the opposing player faction. Ascension Characters in Aion begin as talented but normal humans who are fated to become more than human. They ascend, becoming Daevas, at level 10. Classes Choose from four starting classes. When your character becomes Level 10, choose a subclass to specialize your character. Character Customization Customize your character in a multitude of ways with a thorough character creation and crafting system, as well as detailed item customization options. What seems quite original to me is the 3d fight system, having players run around and chase opponents through the air seems like a cool idea. So far quite a few members of Fakku (some stafflol) have decided to band together in this and we're planning on forming a guild. We haven't decided on a name but are very willing to hear ideas. we're considering a server and race switch, it seems yushis guild are moving to another server on the same side as ruin (massive faggot zerg guild) and so we're planning on placing our fewer numbers against that. If you are planning on playing with us start making some asmodian characters just to get used to the leveling to 20 as much as possible. I know the majority of you think asmodian look cooler anyways so I hope everyone likes the new direction.

Tank (Templar) is the best solo pvper and the most important class. Templar and Cleric are seriously tied for best solo pvper. But i'll give the Templar since Cleric can get stun and burst down while most Templar have over 90% resistance to stun/knockdown and butt load of hp. And like you said, they can pull players, so any range character (lol low hp), they pull them and rape them instant, one of their attack can easly do 1k to 2k damage, and the most hp range character will have is 6k (back when i played when max lvl was 45).

Level grinding mobs lower than you is the WORST idea. Even if they resist that because your farming the wrong mob (mobs with high resistance).

Elite grinding only be good in the higher 30's. So if they are Krall grinding in Veteron they are doing it wrong.

for crafting not everything has a benefit.

Armorsmith = Plate/mail armor, head/belt , Shield
Sewing = Leather / Cloth armor, head/belt
Weaponsmith = 1h sword , Polearm , Mace , etc
Alchemist = pots / orb (Sorc weap)
Handiwork = Staff , Book, Earring, Ring,
Cooking = don't need to explain

as i said before, i play in china version so i might not know all the class name in america server. so excuse me on that part. (mage is sorc warlock is spiritmaster...etc)

and i did say the word "some profession" and not "all profession" have only single benefit

tank is good in pvp but i doubt it is "solo" pvp, not in abyss anyway. melee have huge disadvantage in abyss (as a assassin my guy always fly away IF my poison doesn'tkick in) even with higher flying speed buff sometimes they canjust change direction and pull the distance a bit longer (unless you have godly good reflex and lag)

and i did say scor and ranger is good pvper in abyss, best thing i can avoid them is use my special power and vanish myself (like the skill in wow, not sure what it call in US server)

as many player said, this game have no best class only best player. if played/geared right even some class can kill another

to some class maybe it is better to kill higher level, but as an assassin is better to hit lower, we live or die base on our disable skills

btw, i quit china Aion few month back (around may?) due to too many botters...it is very disappointed.. was 49 assassin i THINK... too damn long since i login.

End of the beta we are toning it down. Not playing as much till the real thing. Going asmods for the real thing irrc. Just learning a few quests and waiting for the real thing.

are you blind? there's 5 post saying Siel was where the Fakku group is going. And it's the fakku group since mods (Mike) will be playing there :3
