PS3. Though compared to the PS2, it doesn't even offer half as much.
Ar Tonelico 3 was great.

As far as I know, the PS3 has more anime games than the 360 that get localized/translated. I've seen quite a large number of 360-only anime games/VNs, but a small number of them are ever brought out of Japan.
As for PS3, I would suggest checking out games by companies like Nippon Ichi, Gust, Compile Heart and similar. There's also Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny
Also, even though it's not really "anime"-esque, I feel like it's art style is unique enough and "Japanese" enough to warrant a mention.

When we said there aren't many "anime" games we meant localized games. In japan there are countless anime games. So yea Ar tonelico 3, a couple of Atelier games and HyperDimension Neptunia are all translated.

I support Hyperdimension Neptunia MK-II (the first isn't as good, but the artwork is superior) and maybe Hyperdimension Neptunia V (actually the third game in the series) when NISA inevitably ports it. Although the games are being released yearly (for some stupid reason) instead of the companies taking time to produce it greatly. If you do buy MK-II, switch to Japanese audio after Linda makes a Solid Snake reference if you're using the very well done dub. You'll be sorry if you don't.
There's also Yggdra Union for the PSP, which is an SRPG with a unique card combat system. I personally love it. Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom is an Otome Visual Novel that was made into an anime. Hexyz Force is also a good RPG...

Blazblue's storyline is pretty much an anime, although it's a fighting game. Pretty much this, Blazblue is currently the god of fighting game story telling, definetly worth getting into.
If you're looking for something less serious, try Arcana Heart 1 (PS2) and 3. (PS3)

oo.. they have english dub for Hyperdimension.. but ya probably switch to japanese voice since I do it on all the gust game I played.. but I do hope they make more better JRPG.. Now most of the BIG games are WRPG... like mass effect and dragon age... and JRPG is getting lesser.. by the time PS4 is out.. I dont think JRPG would be translated anymore.. T^T

Asura's Wrath, doesn't look it, but you're basically playing anime that's like DBZ.
There's also Record of Agarest War.

Forgot to include this since I'm currently playing it's HD Collection: Zone of the Enders, if you're a fan of mech anime type games especially, ZOE: The Second Runner will change your life, it's just too damn good.

Here, you can let Rooster Teeth give you the gist of Asura's Wrath.

You skip it, you'll be missing out on an actually well-written and feel-inducing story, not to mention a badass soundtrack.
