The bats in Final Fantasy IV. They come in bunches, and attack first most of the time. Their moves also take forever and love sapping your precious HP from you. The exp they give sucks too.

those damn car heartless in kingdom hearts 2. when you beat up on em' they'll go berserk and start running into you over and over again. thing is they are completely invincible while they do this. after they're done you have like a one second window to run over and kill them off (or get them off of the ground), otherwise they'll just do it again.

Bad game design mechanics like knock back is an oldschool enemy. Old 2D platformers where when you get hit you go backwards making flying enemies annoying as hell when your making a jump over multiple pits.

The Shadows from Devil May Cry. Not only most annoying but also most freakin' difficult non-boss monsters in the whole game.

Ultima Dragons are the only thing i can remember at the moment. i still have yet to beat final fantasy 7 because of them. all it did was cast ultima. non elemental damage and it hit everyone....HARD. just two of them would knock out my party.
