2.the assassin's creed logo is nowhere to be found
Above the pyramid .. there is a symbol
probably, they change the symbol design because the one before just way too old and assassin nowaday change his method of killing .. perhaps

Not too valid ... just like Exes said , it can be branching ...
and why did you say so ? his face may be looks different .. but it is too dark ..
we cannot see his whole face ..
Well, fans can just speculate .. and ubisoft do the surprise .

alternatively the logo could differ from region to regions like in wanted the different fraternities had different logos, although the hawk has always been another icon for the assassins.

Plus, he's just speculating too. No one is right for now.
Speaking of speculation, that new symbol has what look like the letters A and C. Quite the coincidence.

Assassin Creed 2 is one of the best game this year ...
To understand it clearly , you need to play Assassin Creed 1 which is a game that you either love or hate ..
If you like free roaming game with a bit acrobatic elements from prince of persia ..
I'd say it's worth it ,
but that's yours to decide

The ugly face of the character, and the fact he's holding a dead head in his left hand ...
Tend to confirm he's not a pure hearted hero, but more like some badass evil vilain.
But well, doesn't give us a clue about the game it could come from ...
I bet this is totally unrelated to AC3.

Well, the AC development team once said that they wanted to place their games in settings which aren't used all that often in gaming, hence the Crusades era and the Renaissance.
The Edo/Mejii Japan is one of the speculations, and judging from snippets in AC II, it's possible that Egypt or Africa for the matter will be touched upon, modern or not, since I'm assuming that's where "man from outer space" had their main bases, judging from the Adam and Eve video. (I'm pretty convinced that mountain showed on last frame is Kilimanjaro, but I can be wrong)
I also heard speculations about 18th Century England as well. Now, that would be awesome time frame."
It all can be massive red herring of course, or developers trolling us. Just as Bioware did with "Shepard KIA" trailer when Mass Effect 2 was officially announced.

One little thing, please don't buy Assassin's Creed 2 for the PC, Ubisoft put a completely jackassical DRM on it.

That's what fans hope from Ubisoft .. some surprise which can change the weirdness from Assassin at Modern Day into normal things that we can accept ..
I still believe that this thing is our modern haystack,
Spoiler:
Same purpose, different looks ..

they could always use something like the stuff the soldiers used to slow their decent in final fantasy: the spirits within movie.
The soldiers jump out of the heli, shoot some bubbles to the ground, the bubbles absorb their fall and dissipates.

I read that this Assassin from Egipt is not a concept for a new game, but some art contest for fans to create own Assassin organized by Ubisoft. So In AC 3 we will most likely play as Desmond Miles.

At this point in time NO one who is not actually an employee at Ubisoft can know for sure where AC3 is going. If it's in Japan, Egypt, WWII Europe, or even in the present day. For now, all we can do is sit and wait.
However one thing I personally am certain of is that the next installment will probably juggle Desmond fighting in the real world, and him going into an Animus to relive his ancestry. AC2 ends with Desmond fighting more then he has before, and I would assume Ubisoft wants to keep the premise of tracings roots in the game.
