Audiosurf

After just purchasing Audiosurf the other day, I found myself a tad dissapointed.

For example, when I was testing out songs like Yablochko (a well known folk song), Town Spirit by Tsuyoshi Tanaka (CHACKey) [from the SNES Harvest Moon], Heigh Ho! (from Snow White), K.K. Folk (from Animal Crossing), Bonus Room Blitz RETURNS (from Donkey Kong Country Returns) and POKéMON Tower (from POKéMON Red & Blue), it was quite apparant that their way of analysing the song's instruments, notes, vocals etc. wasn't very good.

I don't know what audio editing I could do to help with the transcription of these songs, but this is starting to become a pain.

OT: You can't play a Audiosurf to soft jazz, The game was almost made for Techno and Metal music.

Well what kind of faulty programming is that D:<

Is there any product that doesn't presume what is and what isn't listened to by its consumers?

You can play anything but the difficulty would be mad easy because soft jazz barely has any "beat" to it.

But wouldn't you rather play something soothing when playing as a mono character?

I always play Ninja so... no? To each his own.

I enjoy the game, I normally just pick random songs, the last time I played I picked the song through the fire and flames.....then got destroyed

Like Yoshii said, The game can be played with anything, But the coding picks up beats, vocals and spikes the best.
Hence why in my mind at least, The game was built for Techno and Metal music.

Yea, all this talk about it made me play the game again, started with love together the theme song for the parappa the rapper anime, surprisingly harder then I had that for that song

Playing anything Speedcore, Hardstyle or Hardcore related and you are bound to be fucked up the ass.

There is Symphony for that.

It's not a 'product', it's a game. An incredibly cheap and old one at that. Pick a different song and quit whining.

I'm not trying to be mean, Race to that song, see how fast, colorful, and addicting Audiosurf is.

But my computer is near the window, and I'm on my iPod Touch in a hurricane, I don't want to risk getting electrocuted.
