Heard the multiplayer is amazing, and the game itself has gotten favorably high reviews. Have yet to play it, I am content with my Counter-Strike Source and Team Fortress 2, but I'm considering getting it if I can get a processor upgrade with it.
My 5000+ BE is not holding the weight it has used to.

I first had doubts of the game, until i managed to test the Beta at my friend's place and that gave me completely different image of the game then the videos i found at youtube.
Only thing that bothers me with the game is the sniper camping ruins the game sometimes, EA server's slowness (clogged probably) and the stability on 64-bit OS systems, which tend to cause my entire system to lockup, forcing me to restart and reboot everything.
But other then that, it's very much fun. Especially if you're playing with people that you KNOW they can play and handle themselves and let you know if they need help.
So far im rank 21 and unlocked everything in Medic / recon / engineer tree. Didn't really touch assault, since my bad memories about the noobtubers in MW2.
I'd recommend it for others to try. The game is pretty much made of awesome, can't say much about SP since didn't try it. The ambient sounds are very well done and even at little distance, the battle sounds "somewhat" realistic or something that can suck you into the game.

Just mastered Assault on my PS3, now getting to Recon. Online is insanely nice.
Although i managed to see some things that might piss players off a little *or maybe it just pisses me but still*. What i've seen so far is that players mostly play as *70%-Medics 20%-Engineer 7%-Recon 3%-Assault*. And the best part is that when you kill someone, that someone sees your position on his screen *which is obviously bullcrap for Recons imo*, and since there are so many medics out there, they just ressurect that guy *if he's lucky* and he kills me because he saw my location.
It's like i'm playing Prince of Persia where i'm the victim end the enemies got *1 more try*.
Next stop is Vehicles: People abuse them alot, that's fine with me since it was meant to be that way. But everytime i see a tank coming to my base and no one from my squad is even worried.....that's getting retarded. So i have to do everything myself while the whole fck team is just shooting around like buncha fa**ots and run from enemy vehicles.Countless times i noticed such thing as *our whole team is just shooting enemy team without thinking about charging some bases on rush mode while we are the attackers*. It's like what the hell? No matter how many enemies you kill, their troops are unlimited, unlike our own... I don't care what others say about being a 1man hero on BF but i say *Teamwork is Essential* otherwise it's just boring.
Well that's about all downsides that i remember at the moment.
But overall the game is very addictive.

Get into a house, find a nice window to snipe from, kill 2 people, start getting shot at, run back into the house for cover, no cover, house destroyed around me only window where i was sniping from left. .
destructible building are cool, in a Full game online the action is pretty intense, Medic reviving people is the best feeling ever (on both sides).
Entertaining game for sure

the single player was fun (especially the jabs they put in towards Modern Warfare 2) altough way too easy even on Hard.
I enjoy mulitplayer a lot. the only problem I have that I'm used to the smaller MW2 maps so I'm sniping about 90% of the time. I do dry to play the other classes when assaulting an objective. Otherwise it's sniping time.
best sniper shot so far.
2 kills (1 headshot) + critical squad assist + 209 markmanship bonus. Score just kept on rolling on the screen

I got this game two days ago, and I am incredibly disappointed. It looks decent, the destroyable areas and the sound design are very neat, but otherwise it's fucking shit:
No LAN MP, no coop, no listen servers or private DS, no way to rebind essential keys, lolHUDbug, server browser broken beyond repair, hilariously broken updater, all the opportunities for mischief that made bf2 fun are gone forever.
Holy fuck!

another MW2 jab XDlol Theres not that many nade spammers in bc2, but too bad they were replaced by tanks, uavs, tow missiles, mortar strikes, rocket spamming, and half a dozen other forms of explosive death. It's times like those that almost make me wish that my cover wasn't destructible.

The way to remedy this is just not stay in one place too long otherwise they'll bring the rain.
I reckon that's what explosive weapons are supposed to do flush you out so you don't/can't camp plus destructible cover emphases this point.
Engy with lightweight kit or extra rockets is win, you can down a fully crewed tank easy if you know what you're doing :p
Edit: Or play medic and run around zapping people to life for epic lulz.

God.. I had to relearn how to fly the chopper again, but either than that.. the game is just draw dropping to the unspeakable levels.
Now lets see what Crytek's Crysis 2 can do..

Handling of the choppers didn't seem to have changed much from BF2 :s
The Blackhawk's still like flying a cargo train and the combat choppers are just as fast as the old ones.
I reckon they've made it a bit easier to fly them tho but that's just me...

tips for fun times:
be medic, see if theres a dead teammate right in the open in the field of fire. wait until the lifeline icon is almost faded, then revive him. he'll die due to disorientation and his spawn counter will reset. if you do this multiple times the respawn timer keeps getting higher
medic is best class
another pro medic tip: put 4x scope on m60, congratulations you have a sniper rifle with a 100 round magazine

I blame the fact I haven't flown a chopper for quite sometime (ever since that 1GB plus patch came out). So like, I had to get use to the controls.. again.

I love flying them. Though avoiding the shit that fly towards me is sometimes tricky.
I love playing the recon class. Sniping/spotting folks is so much win

And mortaring camping tanks on Port Valdez.
I'm still hoping they make a remake of Wake Island with jets ;___;

That would be fun. Though I'm a bit tired of of 4 or 5 people on the opposing team as snipers cause all they do is mortar the a or b position and win <.<. I get so giddy when I back to back kill people with a sniper at close range. Specially when they try to cap a flag point.
