Best Fighting Game (IMO)

TEKKEN6 for the sake of the masses. Its shook the foundation of Fighting gamers from all over the country. I remember visiting tournaments of these, They were awesome like saying "Press the X then [] button damnit, then go for a finish O,O,X!!!" And i was like "They guys memorized the whole set of combos for that characters.

BTW, my favorite characters are Feng Wei(The Angry Guy) and the Gundam, Alisa Boskonovitch(Although she doesn't look like a gundam).

Just hearing the HA! and the YA! then KO! Makes the audience WHOA!!!

Lol I havent played it, but I think that Street Fighter IV was probably the worst investment in a game ive ever made.

Ah yes Tekken 6...but Soul Calibur 4 seems to cath up...not to mention BlazBlue--BANG! BANG! BANG!

but kind of underrated compared to it.

as far as 3d fighters go, DOA is definitely my favorite, SC is ok but... Tekken, well gameplay always feels sluggish to me.

I have that game for xbox. Something about people complaining about the online though?

It's so bad that it's unplayable, much like KOF 98UM's is. It's a goddamn joke compared to even SFIV which has "ok" netcode at best. A shame too, since it's the most accessible version of the game to play, along with being a near, if not perfect port.

edit: I'd also like to say that SNK's other online efforts: Samurai Shodown II and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum do NOT have this terrible netcode, and play pretty good.

Dead or Alive, has the most environmental effect and Hazard in all fighting games industries.

and Dead or Alive's fight play is all about

combo -> reversal -> throw -> combo -> reversal -> reversal -> throw -> falls cliff -> throw -> reversal -> facewall

rinse and repeat

it has the most "liquid" fighting game plays I ever seen.

I never really got into that. I tried it, I cried a little.

Sort of like Fatal Fury.

Samurai Showdown is good, but the 3D one kinda failed it eventhough it has some promising characters.

The "GARest" (maybe lol) fighting games there is.

you don't mess around in Bushido Blade, because it's one of those TRUE fighting games, where one slash of the sword = death

that would probably be legit if counters had any weaknesses and couldn't be mashed out anyways.
