black rock shooter the game

gameplay-i've seen a few videos of the gameplay, and it seems interesting. its a mix of rpg and a third person shooter. controls are simple its pretty much shoot and dodge with a few other attacks, but i don't really know how to explain it. maybe its the fact that its black rock shooter thats clouding my judgement of the game, but the gameplay although simple seems like it would be fun.

story-The main character of the game, Black★Rock Shooter (in the game a "living weapon" designated with the name BRS), is entrusted with the responsibility to protect mankind, possessing the abilities to fight against the invaders as the ultimate weapon. She emerges from the ruins of San Francisco, and witnesses an amassing of surviving troops which becomes her support throughout her missions.

anyone now anything about the north american localization? it was announced about a year ago and nothing has been said since then. all i've heard is that its gonna be psn download only.
