Don't know if you already know, but this game is japanese and don't have english texts, i thought people would notice the "dot not".

First game was old, so lousy interface was expected, but it was really fun to play. Super overpowered characters though, powerful AOE spells cover half the map and deal insane amount of damage. AIs are dumb, but also expected. Has the longest story, I think.
Second game was weird, but the best among all. Weird is, the more you level up your main the worse you're going to fare in any battles, because your allies are much weaker than you, but your enemies' level is the same as yours. So the point here is to NOT level up your main, and you'll breeze through with eyes closed. I made the mistake of leveling up my main (Serious sarcasm) and paid the price of at least 5+ hours to win some of the stages. Beautiful graphics, okay story, but you'll notice that it's actually quite short (If you only go through the true end).
Third game was short. 90% game play, 0% story, 10% disappointment with almost no relation with past characters. Second game main was here, but I could kick him out with no worries whether it'll affect any parts of the story. This one boasts beautiful+awesome game play, but ultimately, I wish they had stuck with the old RPG style. Finished it in about 5 hours (Cheated gold cause I only lust for stories), using walkthrough. Have Hard Mode and Extra Mode, which of course forces you to replay everything all over again twice, just for a full page of extra H CGs that I could do without. I probably missed true end that would be present at the other difficulties, but I suspect it might be the same as Normal. Someone tell me later. In short, boring. I'd rather play the *SPOILERS AVERT YOUR EYES* 10 years gap of adventure after the first game main decides to travel the world at the end, as BOD 3.
Too bad the company fell? Couldn't find anything about talismansoft. They either have lazy writers, or lazy programmers that crashed the company.
