Borderlands

Which is a godly feature that is slowly fading away. Now games that have slip-screen are very few in numbers, which is sad, since it makes us look even more nerdier to sit in our rooms alone playing with your online friends.

I seriously miss the time when i played Goldeneye or Perfect Dark 4 player Deathmatch. And giving shit to eachother when we looked at eachother's screen lol.

Goldeneye sure brings back memories. I agree, wish more games had splitscreen.


I'm around level 22 or so now. Just got a few quests that involve the car.

I just bought the pc version with today. Anybody want to team up? My wife hates games, and my friends only play consoles so I rather play with Fakku people than complete strangers. I can only play after 5 o clock pacific time US though. Just give me a PM and we will work out the details. Just putting it out there

Bought it a few days ago. Around level 30 now.

I'm having fun playing this game though the achievements could be a bit more challenging to me.

I don't trust their marketing. When it took me more than one shot to kill someone while using a jacobs, I was in awe.

I rather like the one that says I don't need to aim, I need to shoot more bullets. Now that's genius marketing right there.

Anyone else get the gun that goes "Thwack"? Hilarious.

Its a fail game. I didn;t like it. I'm waitin for dragon ages origins realease.

I just got it a few days ago and have to say I'm really enjoying it. Split screen has some issues that could have been ironed out but doesn't majorly detract from the enjoyment of the game. I did die in my car once and wondered why it was so (relatively) easy for guys with machine guns to explode an armored vehicle, I guess so you don't sit in your car and just laugh your enemies to death instead of actually fighting them.

I really like some of the weird weapons and the funny red text you get in their descriptions.

Beat the game with Lilith/Mordecai in splitscreen. I don't think we finished all the side quests though, guess I have to go back to each area and check the bounty boards.



Yeah, the red text is pretty fun, especially trying to figure out what bonuses they give.


My brother was using Mordecai and went with the Pistol skills. It's funny seeing him shoot a wall of bullets at things.

PC Version is awesome!

Not to mention the weird weapons I have! (Shotgun that fires explosive rounds, Sniper that shoots fire rounds and my 2x damage SMG)

First DAO, then Borderlands and then SW TFU Ultimate Sith Edition...

Haha, point taken. I'll admit I was disappointed when I came across the first non-elite enemy that survived one shot from my shotgun. It was a sad day.

i got this not too long ago, i should have finished it earlier but i've been farming guns and just wandering around. i've been playing as Lilith and im using a scoped thumper with a double anarchy for close range beside that i have a sniper rife for longer range and a caustic missle launcher for emergencies

personally my favorite is a tie between the thumpers and spread rocket launchers

beside that i have never noticed before but Lilith's eyes are gold, but then again ive never had a good pic to look at of her

I play as Lilith(Selena actually ;-)) on 25 lvl.
Damn it is hard because the bandits can destroy your car by shooting with trash guns and when I hit the bugs with the car then Im taking lot of domage...
And to be honest Im starting to loose my patience on this game...

blast them with your cars weapon or just run over them, or if you want the xp just jump out and blast them yourself if the bugs are after you too then lead the two together i think the bandits will start killing the bugs, it makes a nice distraction

got the Pc version today and going to start soon :) (right after i finished browsing the forumz)

edit: my workmate bought it too and we cant host or connect...and when i checked some forums nearly all have this problem.

Anyone got that problem too and a solution for me?

The DLC is out! (since November 24)

Played it last night and had a few good laughs.
Also there is a 1G achievement XD

I finished The Main quest and I dont feel like completing the side missions, because they are endless.I dont wanna spoil everything so Im just gonna say that ending is dissapointing and there is a gap in characters story...

Oh man I love this game just spent 9 hours straight for 3 days playing it, not exaggerating. First run though made it to level 36 cap is 50 depressing.

The story is not that bad excluding the shitty ending, the core fun is in the gameplay and the presentation. I love that there is a ridiculous amount of guns even if it's just the same 15 models with different effects and sights.

The classes aren't original but whose are? They all seem to play well I played a soldier first and he is pretty beast don't think anyone can compare to him, but now I'm playing as a hunter and he is pretty sweet glad snipers aren't useless like they were when I was a soldier.

I noticed that the game was much more polished in the beginning, and lost a lot of it towards the end. Like the boss and NPC intros, why did they stop introducing NPC's I mean only Baha and Zed get one they were a sweet addition. After Sledge the intros seemed to not measure up.

The side missions are where I had the most fun there are so many I think I made it though them all but who can be sure? My favorites were the go here and kill this mini boss ones, I loved when they weren't quite what they seemed. While their really wasn't to much variety most go here get this or go here kill that, they never had me not wanting to complete just one more before I go to sleep.

The level design and art are excellent while most games seem to lose their cool complex levels towards the end, this game delivered almost all the way though. While some of the areas looked a little copy-pasty I'd say they hit the mark. Adding to the fun was the excellent art that kept it from having that depressing look like that of Fallout 3. It makes it so the people and creatures you have to fight really pop out, and not blend into the background.

While it had one of the most disappointing endings ever

I still think that it is one of the best games of the year and is worth a buy for anyone that likes FPS or RPG's. Oh and doses anyone else think Lilith is hot?
