Gameplay is hack and slash (god of war type stuff), light RTS (its really more like controlling a huge squad than an RTS), and driving. Those are the big three and there are more play types in the side missions.

You actually sold me on this game also. I thought it looked cool when I saw the E3 demo but then I heard Jack Black was voicing so I thought it'd be a long journey through a raging river of bad humor

Played it and beat it and to be honest very impressed but I do wish there was something better to after you beat the game. I did enjoy the legends and real rock legends though.
