Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

It was out at the video store, so based on the replies, its worth waiting for?

Or should I just pick it up at my leisure?

This is one awesome game. I love it!

Oh god, first off, im not going to even pay attention to your posts if you don't at least paragraph. Secondly this only further proves my statement of you being a dumbass. "bunch of IR led and stuff, but almost all NVG Are like that some just have added stuff to make them work better". LOL this is certainly not the case at all and shows you know nothing about NVG's.

There are three levels of NVG's.

Level one - toy NVG's , which the MW2 ones are. Ranging from $0 - $150 in price.
Level two - Real NVG's, used for hunting. Ranging from $150 - $3000 in price
Level three - Military NVG's, military issue not available to general public. Ranging from $3000+ in price.

I have also infact tried the MW2 NVG's (friend was naive enough to buy them). They are well sub par $100 NVG's. How do i know? Because i own a real level two pair of NVG's (as i go hunting often). The difference is like comparing a Ute to a Ferrari, it's laughable.

If you are going to use these NVG's for anything but being a commodity, then i feel truly sorry for you. Next time when your trying to argue something or make a ridiculous statement it helps if you've done your research in the first place.

I like the "Secondry weapon" choices in MW2, Makes a change from always carrying a crappy pistol. :)

One question though. Why the FUCK is an AK-47 the most basic piece of shit weapon in the world that practically every camel humper owns is only unlocked at LvL 70?

@GameON: You know what I may be a dumbass when it comes to NVG, but that gives you no damn right to keep calling me one. I would easily bet that there are things in this world that our roles would be reversed on. By that I mean there are things where you have a dumbass knowledge of them and I Know everything about them. The difference is I would not call you a Dumbass because you don't know what I do. I would proved the information I have, and then leave it up to you to decide if you want to believe it or not. I would not give Information, and then call a person a dumbass cause they do not know this information.

Anyway I am done talking about NVG this thread is about the game and should stay that way.

ON that note I just finished playing the Campaign, and it is incredible. The graphics are some of the best Graphics I have ever seen in a game before. The story is awesome, gripping, keeps you guessing on what is going to happen. I would suggest to anyone who does not have this, to go out and get it immediatly. This Is a must have game for gamers who love FPS games. Hell not even love just like FPS game. Anyway I'm going to go play through the Special ops.

Well.. that sorta sucks.. 5 hours and 40 minutes of Singleplayer :P

I did in 10 hours... On Veteran though. Now I'm busy on recruit to get some side achievements and the intels. Recruit is a breeze once you've played the entire game on Veteran XD

GameON: if you hate the game so much why do you keep posting in here? Don't like it then leave it be and talk about to game you like and stop ranting about games you hate for whatever reason.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's a fuckload of fun, but I agree that it is too short, its shorter than the last one.

And...

did anyone else get fucking sick and tired of being stabbed and shot in the gut? They had to jump the shark with that one two more times.

And the sequel-baiting! One of the most anti-climactic VG endings I've seen (which albiet is limited but still, I can recognize shameless sequel-bait when I see it.)

There is a final level called museum though, and it's collectively got every weapon in MW2 with a couple ammo restocks and lots of scene reenactments with live actors on which to use the guns/grenades.

Lol, it's the replacement of the Strgwr I suppose. I was hyped for them to release one of the newer AK series though.

I want to see the damage chart already to understand most of the differences in the guns. Like what's the difference from the Famas and M16.

Ok so it's Modern Warfare with more atheistic's? I was massively disappointed, but not surprised with this game.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say they didn't change a thing not even fixing the problems with the last one. Only new mode is 3rd person view that I will say is good I like that but that's it. There is absolutely no difference between this and the original.

Though I will say thank the baby Jesus that Juggernaut is gone. (well now it's painkiller but it's a death streak and only last's 10 sec so it's cool)

...... So why exactly couldn't they just steal Nazi Zombies from Tryarch? I mean it's what Tryarch did for their whole game.

Only reason to buy this game is to have CoD without the Juggernaut.

Ok back with my thoughts on the Single-player.

Single-player

Ok so basically they took all the cool things that were existing and new and did it like 5 time in this game. I mean how many times did I barely escape death in those playing cut scenes. Oh and how many times did I die in the campaign god dam. That shit happened so many times it just wasn't cool anymore.

Ok so I have nothing good to say about the campaign right? Wrong well the only good thing was the level design which was excellent. It really made you feel like you were on a modern day battle field, rather than just some nameless area that doesn't exist. Though this is lost on the multi-player, the single player truly has excellent level design.

I laughed at that so hard. Anyways, anybody know the difference between the M16 and Famas yet? They seem to feel the same and fire the same burst fire when used.

The only difference between the FAMAS and the M16 that I can see is that the FAMAS has an absolutely bullshit 3 round burst feature wheras the M16 is a good solid fully automatic piece of kit.

Even in Metal Gear Solid the FAMAS was fully automatic! :(

I dont like using American equipment in general because they always seem to have that annoying round bit of metal over the gunsight (M4 A1) and theyve buggered up the FAMAS so im basically using the LSW. Have you seen the difference in the damage the LSW/RPD deals out compared to the M4 you unlock later! (Fucking insult)

*Edit, I may be confused about the M16 im thinking about the M4 A1 which I believe is derived from the M16. (Havent unlocked the M16 yet cause... I cant connect to the MOTHERLOVING server so I cant progress)

I believe you're exaggerating, though I really am with you on taking out Juggernoob perk. Only complaint I have is that the majority of the maps are huge, a camper's paradise.

As a former camper (ahem) I find that I camp LESS on MW2, im running around like a bat out of hell. Its much less camper friendly then WAW.

When your camping a smaller map would be better. More chance someone'll come round your corner = More cheap kills. :)

The larger maps make it more "Sniper" friendly... A big difference from campers! (Kind of) :S
