Anyone notice alot of lag on xbl? I have a great connection and my friends notice it also? Bugs because its new?

Bugs, I don't think so. Possibly because of the mass of people trying to play it on live.

Fucking awful story. It's not nearly as good the first Modern Warfare's. It's way to exaggerated and doesn't nearly have the same emotional impact the first one did.

Throughout the single player, I was going ".... seriously?" for the entire story.

I agree in some parts of your point, i already finished this game and its a good FPS game, excellent graphics, but honestly in hystory i prefer the hystory of the first CODMW, its more realistic and you get shocked and with the hystory of CODMW2 its more like a movie, well both hystories are, but i think that the first history of CODMW1 is more realistic.

Anyway its a good game, i liked the mission when you are climbing the mountain to the airbase.

MW2 does not need a stellar story or single-player campaign, the multiplayer should be the focus here.

If you're looking for a strong single-player experience then go buy Dragon Age or wait for Bioshock 2.

Favorite combo so far is to take any of the Assault rifles and combine with noob tube, use thumper as the other explosives choice, and perk 1 scavenger pro. Now enjoy the rest of the game blowing people up and getting the most kills while people on the other team talk sh*t about you for being cheap.

My uncle got it when it came out, but I'm still waiting for him to come over so I can play it. >_<

I got this game early, last friday, and I am already first prestige level 38. I was rank 72 last night. I'm really loving the game especially the M16 and the FAMAS. The killstreaks were designed perfectly.

Also if you want to see a nuke at action, get 8-9 friends and start a private match.

I agree strongly. It's like the writing staff took notes on Micheal Bay's Transformers 2 on how to write a stupid storyline.

@Him520 I have every right to call you a dumbass, we're not in a socialist state and i don't have to treat you like my equal. First thing, in my world it is stupid to open up your mouth about something you have no idea what your talking about. If i did that, hell id be out of a job.

If you can't take criticism then you need to harden up, im not trying to discouraging you but it's a life lesson that is better learned early then late. I also just have a tendency to hate people who talk about shit about shit they have no idea about no matter what it is.

I guess the storyline is pretty muddy and incoherent at times, but I enjoyed it. I thought it did a really good job of evoking a lot of emotions. Fighting from a fast-food restaurant, going through the airport, and emerging from the underground bunker in D.C. were all moments that I thought were excellent.

As a cohesive unit, I do think that it gets lost somewhere in the middle.
