I always use LMGs

Just as with CoD4, I use the RPD, but I use the L86 sometimes. Im always the one that's crouched when moving, so I always get people sprinting into me and all I do is aim and shoot and they die.

Since they're sprinting they dont have enough time to get ready and aim.

Also, since it's CoD, every gun shoots perfectly straigt when you aim it, so I snipe people across maps all the time.

In ground war, my K/D ratio is usually 25-30/5-10

Im only level 34 right now. I have fun making people in the next prestige rage.

I just started so I don't even really have anything set up yet, and my K/D is laughable. I'll admit that I am horrible at this game, but I think I'm getting a little better each time. I guess I'm too used to playing with children on Halo 3 where you can get away with run-and-gun tactics and still pull out an impressive round. ^_^;;

So anyone else up for a [FAK!] tag? XD

I'm always horrible and full of /rage when i play this. and Tsurayu why not just have our clan tag as [F!] instead? or [FAKU]? or we can choose any of those?

If you don't want to run out of ammo. Just use one man army and select the same class when you run out of ammo. One man army lets you change classes without having to respawn first.

For example my fav class.

Primary: M4A1 w/ silencer
Secondary: One man army
Perk 1:One man army (Replaces secondary weapon)
Perk 2:Hardline
Perk 3:Steady Aim
Death Streak: Really don't care

Never run out of ammo

Use it while you can, no doubt, they'll fix it.

any tips for a beginner in shooters on ps3?

I know what you mean. I'm not even new to FPS and I'm pretty awful at this game. I'm too used to run-and-gun tactics. Too many games where you can get away with that, but anyone who is halfway decent in MW is going to stamp you out good.

Not to sound like I'm advertising, but watching Evilgamer's channel is pretty good. He's pretty good at the game and will often throw out tips, especially if you ask for his help in the chat. I've used a handful of his tips and I THINK I'm getting a little better.

I know one thing he suggested helped me and that was to not crouch. It may improve your accuracy a bit, but it is insignificant compared to the difficulty in trying to get away from fire while crouching. I think he has it right when he says crouching is a somewhat advanced tactic and someone who is an amateur should avoid crouching, especially around corners because it is too hard to escape crossfire and oncoming fire.

One of my big problems that I can't seem to get over is to keep moving. I'm used to be able to run-and-gun in a shooter like Halo 3 and be able to survive fairly easily, or to be able to camp without interference, but I never get away with that in MW2. I run around too much I get disoriented and shot from god knows who, and I try planning too much and get knifed in the back. >.<

-Tips for beginners on Modern warfare is to start using the Burst Fire guns, meaning use the Famas or M16. Make sure you combine it with Stopping Power. This will make kills a lot easier for you. They also do well in close quarters considering that the console versions have the little auto tracker aim feature.
-Another good gun to use for beginners is to just use LMGs, they are strong and help get kills fast.
-Always use the map, it's your best friend. If need to, press the start button very quickly to get the full map layout to see where all the enemies are. Know where your allies are and where your enemies are.
-Remember, you don't always have to storm into an area, you can also provide support for your teammates by camping important areas as well. Make sure they don't get flanked or provide back up fire, so you can always hide behind somewhere and let them enter first and leave some distance between them and you.
-If you're just difficulties enjoying the game, then I just taking a break and just fool around. Usually fooling around will get you in the right mood again, and then you can go back to playing normally. Fooling around can be anything that makes the game enjoyable, in this case I recommend you just make a noobtube set to just run around blowing people up. This should allow you to get a good amount of kills.
-You can also provide back up by making sure you have a stinger/javelin set to take out aerial vehicles. Whenever enemies get something like this, always make sure to take it out. This too also provides support for you team. Many people online though are still retarded as hell and don't do anything about it, so it leaves you with the job of finishing it off. It may be tedious having to waste a life, but it keeps your team from providing free kills and helping the enemy players get higher killstreaks.

I dont really feel like being all sarcastic today so ill just say it would be good if I had One Man Army unlocked but I havent!

Also one important tip is to use your surroundings wisely. Chances are enemies won't see you if you are crouching or prone in heavy brush around a corner (Provided the enemy has no UAV up). This tactic is especially helpful when you have a killstreak that leaves you helpless like a Predator Missile. This works most efficiently when you have Cold-Blooded pro, but works regardless.

lol in all seriousness though, I have much better luck when I dont sprint everywhere. You're able to aim much faster that way should you need to. I only use sprint to get away from somewhere, not to it, unless I have to diffuse a bomb.
