This is what I usually do:
-Never sprint
-always check the radar now and then
-see the skeleton image of a teammate that died? keep your eyes open and your finger on the trigger!
-Know the map! (possible camper spots, narrow hallways for mutli kills, and so on)
-killed by a camper/sniper? check the killcams for locations (I usually nade their asses then)
-mess a bit with the perks and weapons and see which ones fit you the best
-enemy UAV/Chopper/AC-130... Shoot the damned thing down! the less advantages they have the better! (You'll need the AT4-HS, Stinger or Javelin, don't bother using your other guns, AC-130 is a bitch to shoot down as well.)
-Care package... an open area but be sure that others are around and the enemy far away. You don't want to miss a Pave Low or a Harrier Strike because you got killed or because it landed outside the map. if an enemy care package is nearby: Throw a flash/stun/smoke and a nade at it and hijack it. (lost count how many times I stole a stealth bomber and Pave Lows.)
-Look trough your scope a lot. You never know what suddenly might show up at the window/hallway/street you're currently looking at.

I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU ON VARIOUS POINTS
WTF? WHY? YOU GET PLACES FASTER AND GET OUT OF SHIT FASTER IF YOU SPRINT
MORE LIKE 24/7
IF YOU KNOW THE MAP YOU SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO SPRINT.............
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNLESS YOU ARE CAMPING

-Agreed, sprinting can be very beneficial during a map. Good for running to cover when in the open and what not. Also if you're good at running and gunning, shouldn't be a problem as well to take down enemies. But mostly, sprint to reach objectives faster or get to good places to counter snipers or incoming attackers.
-Yup 24/7 on the map.Get that into your habit of looking at the small one and the big one.
-Know map so you know all the camping areas and shortcuts. Also fun to know which areas have glitches you can abuse as well.
-Do NOT look through your scope a lot. You need your whole area of vision to look at your surroundings most of the time and besides, quick scoping and shooting isn't hard.

I gradually got the grasp of playing the game. At first, I can barely play any shooting games for 10 minutes, due to my eyes not getting used to it at all, after that, a big fat head ache. Then, yesterday, I actually played for 4 hours straight without hurting my eyes. I'm happy now. That is a big accomplishment for me in playing first-person shooter games. Now, I just have to keep playing to get my eyes more used to it and get better at MW2.

Doods, I tried that class lollollol12 was talking about before where you just run around the level with:
-Marathon
-Lightwieght
-Commando
And you knife everyone. I laughed so hard when people would see me coming but I'd run up to them yelling "Serpentine!" and stab them in the face.
It only works on more urban maps, and you have to patrol an area. But on skidrow, I got 33 kills and 3 deaths on team deathmatch. I took out 7 guys in like 10 seconds at one point. They were all freaking out cause they were all dying, but cause I used a knife, they couldn't see me on the radar.

No I have, but even when they see me it doesn't matter. I'm to fast. Yes I'm indeed so fast that I can knife them before they shoot. There is the "lunge" motion that makes me kill them before I get killed. Also, I can equip a heartbeat sensor too. I don't use it though, because it is faster just to run in there.
Plus you have to get a kill streak to get a UAV. How are you going to get a good line of uavs going when I am knifing you? Sure I'm not going to be invincible, and I've gone out there and have be killed 4 or 6 times in a row. But then you'll get a streak of like 15 kills.
Point is, for not shooting a single bullet during a match, getting ratio of about 5:1 kills is pretty awesome.

Can I pose some interesting points about the weapons?
-Rather than use modern Kalashnikov rifles and shotguns (AK-103/107 and Saiga-12) they use Italian shotguns and updated AK-47s. These updated AK-47s use around 600-700 dollars worth of American-made upgrade parts (Vltor stock/adaptor, Tapco fore-end/magazines, ect.) each, when it would cost the Russian government probably $200 USD each to procure new AK-103s from Izmash. This in addition to Russia having long abandoned the 7.62x39mm in favor of the 5.45x39mm round.
-The Brazilian Militia have access to quite alot of weapons that seem greatly out of the price range of said group. The FAL's fit because they're like the intelligent man's AK-47, but the other, more modern weapons seem out of place, in addition to the point bade below.
-All Opfor weapons, when using them, excepting guns with integral sights (Tavor-21 Mars Sight and F2000 w/scope) use American-made red-dot, holographic, and ACOG scopes, all of which start at $300 a pop.
-Adding to that, the Russian Army are using Tavor-21s, Israeli-made assault rifles that fire 5.56 NATO. Why would the [Russian] government buy weapons chambered for that round, and in such mass quantities (I observed the Tavor and the AK-47 the most commonly dropped). Not to mention the ammo. And, adding to what was earlier said about the SPAS-12 being an OpFor gun, that shotgun has a reputation for being unreliable, and as previously said, they have the Saiga-12, which uses box-mags, has higher shell capacities, is much less complex, and is based on the AK action (so its incredibly reliable and cheap).

HEY MAN, ITS JUST A GAME WHICH DOESNT GO FOR REALISM
INFINITY WARD WANTED A TACTICOOL AK SO INSTEAD OF THE OLD ONE IN COD4, THEY PIMPED IT OUT BECAUSE SHIT LIKE RAILS AND MAGS DONT COST SHIT IN A GAME
THE CHINESE ARE GOOD AT MAKING SHITTY RIP-OFF CLONE OPTICS DEVICES IN REAL LIFE, WHO SAYS THAT THOSE RUSSIANS HAD TO HAVE RECEIVED THEM FROM AMERICA?
THE SPAS-12 ISNT EVEN PRODUCED THESE DAYS. IT IS PRETTY UNREALISTIC TO EVEN INCLUDE IT IN THIS GAME, BUT ITS A FUCKING FAMOUS GUN SO INFINITY WARD PUT IT IN[size=1]i [/h]

I dont know how they actually went about selecting weapons but it always makes me cringe when I see an LSW with a 60+ round drum magazine. Where are the 30 round mags for it? I dont believe theyve ever made a drum for it.
The AUG HBAR kicks ass but I laugh slightly when I get the "choice" to add a grip to it and I see the picture of it without the grip it has in real life anyway.
I wish you could select whether to use 3 round bursts or to go fully automatic with the FAMAS and the M16 too cause lets be honest its crap.
Now I kinda know why the AK-47 might be the best rifle in the game even though its stats arnt the hottest. It confused me before when I saw that it only gets unlocked at level 70 but now I understand.
By the way I dont know whether im right here but doesnt the FN FAL look like an FN CAL?

I finally got a chance to play it through.
Damn that game is worth it, I can honestly say I didn't see a few things coming.
But I hate how the ending just leaves off as it does.

With some of the weapons in the game I wouldnt be surprised to see a Call Of Duty: Wild Wild West!
Those Akimbo *1887 (*Whatever) Shotguns and the Akimbo Magnum Revolvers.
<_<SIGH>_>
