I fucking rock at this game,its just so easy to kill people in it i won online so many times its a great game have to get it for me self.

Lol played a match of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my friends the other day. This is byfar the best gametype to play that we came up with.

So pretty much it's 3rd person knife wars on Rust combined with riot shields as protection. Only kills you can get are from knife kills; this include throwing knives. The shield serves to protect your back from other kinds of knife kills (run around as turtles lol), but even when two people collide with eachother and knife, the shield can still protect you if you angle yourself right. It's funny watching so many players clump together and trying to knife eachother but everybody keeps getting blocked by the riot shields. Most hilarious and enjoyable gametype with friends so far.

Haha, that does sound fairly entertaining. Reminds me of a riot shield match I watched online a few weeks ago.

Also found this video to be pretty amusing, was a little bit baffled at what happened.

Last evening had quite long fight with knife / throwing knife only mode at Highrise with 4 buddies of mine..
It was more chaotic then standard games, everyone screaming at Skype when trying to seek for a throwing knife and run from the others.

Seriously, idk why some people bash this type of gameplay but i find it lot more fun then standard games and tends to even give better reaction time practice then normal games.

Marathon + Lightweight + Commando Pro, SMG/Sniper for main weapon (best mobility) and pistol with tac knife addon. I lack the knife addon for pistol so i had at best 2 knife shots at the other guy before i get knifed, but at most just a single shot and have to make that count..

That doesn't really apply to live server games at all.

Any other people that are interested in private game rooms in PC, just ditch me a note in steam and i'll notify you when a game is going up. You can find me there with W4lt3r_89 alias.

*edit* Practice paid off.. Search and Destroy on Highrise, ended up with 12 kills / 2 deaths. A good knifer can seriously slaughter the opposing side on this map.. Plenty of corners and such to hide behind and surprise that enemy if you're just rushing through from one side to the other.

I just discovered whole new way of playing this game.. And I like it.

did my first prestige yesterday. and for some odd reason I'm plowing trough the enemies ever since. however I always seem to be stopped around killstreak 19.

The AK... well damn that's one hell of a machine you're holding plowed trough level 70 in just an hour.

Ive recently unlocked the RPG and im wondering how tough is it to knock out an Attack Helicopter or a Pavelow with it seeing as its an unguided weapon.

Havent tried the RPG EVER!!

Should I just stick with the Javelin?

To my knowledge, RPG can drop attack helo at least from single shot, Pave low from 2 rounds would be my guess.

Good luck at hitting the chopper though with it, since RPG is inaccurate as hell.
But with RPG, you cant really take down an AC130. Then again, those "angel flares" are rather abundant on AC130 but occasionally you can drop it from single javelin ( experienced this).

My guess is try it for about 10 to 20 rounds and evaluate yourself do you want to use it or not.. It's rather handy if you want to clear those few sniper camping spots at derail (the 2 floored hanger by the train for example).

I prefer a handgun / machine pistol then launcher / shotgun since my gameplay style doesn't really support those 2 weapon classes that well.

im very close to getting the ak but right now im running around with akimbo p90s and 1887 and its pretty badass. occasionally i do have to pull out Big Secksy and teach those campers on wasteland a message.and also i was trying for quite some time to kill ppl shortly after we spawn on afgan with a noobtube and thumper with lol's recommendations and shit and finally fucking did it and i was like FUCK YEAH!!! and my team mate congratualted me and we won.

Don't even use the Javelin. The Stinger is way better for taking down killstreaks.

It seems the only advantage the Javelin has over it is the ability to aim at a ground target, even if it does take forever to actually hit it...

Also, the glitch before, but that's fixed xD

Well the thing is that I play a shit load of Search and Destroy and the Javelins good for locking on and firing at point targets. Like on Derail for example, When all those cunts go for point B as soon as I see movement there I unleash the beast!

I need some sort of Anti Air equipment too because ive been on a team whithout any AA capability and its NOT funny at all.

And as for clearing out sniper positions I have my trusty Grenade Launcher for that so the RPG would seem like a bit of an over extravagant waste TBH.

Granted the RPGs trajectory and explosive damage are better than grenades but fuck it, Im badass with a launcher! :P
