actually most good players play domination and capture the flag, since they require the most tactics, and i'm not talking about public ranked matches online, I mean those kids who play gamebattles and mlg.

CTF yes, domination no. And most competitive players play SnD when it comes to Clan vs Clan matches and what not. SnD is as tactical and competitive as it gets. 4v4 talk to team and only 1 life.

Pretty sure i posted this in my last post. To the guy who just said people only go for kills. 95% of people online are garbage. People are too concerned over their stupid k/d's.

Also to the person who said no to domination. That's incorrect, 1 life doesn't mean anything and all game modes require talking, so I don't see your point.


S&D is popular, because you rank up fast. Most people who do clan battles, play S&S only because they're used to playing it.

I love this game so much! my girlfriend is really good at this game and we tie most of the time. My dad is also pretty good. It just sucks that i dont have Xbox Live and cant really get better so i have plateaued.

Which is why I refuse to play objective modes unless I'm with a group of friends. Too many assholes who only care about using the mode to increase their KDR. I don't know how many times I've gone for the flag, or the bomb spot. Do it all sneaky like, and manage to infiltrate the area, only to find that I am soon to be surrounded, and completely alone because the rest of my team is busy picking off biscuit enemy team members instead of actually playing the match.

I 100% agree with you, always seems that when I play solo, that two things happen.

1.People are nowhere near the objective, off somewhere blocking a doorway I will eventually run through and get me killed.

2.People are running around the map like, it's team deathmatch, trying to only get kills.

This is why the only real objective ones I play are Ground War (big team deathmatch/domination) or sabotage (I think that's what it's called the bomb planting one) and I only play those rarely. It's mostly not worth the frustration to me to deal with those modes as it seems that especially with modes like sabotage and domination they Breed into one giant camping cluster fuck. It's easier for me and my sanity to just play team death match and ground war and not swear up a storm.

Wow, I ran into the most annoying camper ever! Even my clan mate got pissed. XD

Some asshole name Grog. Man was single-minded, to be be nice about it. Playing on Favela and he wanted, no he apparently DESPERATELY NEEDED this one building. He camped there literally the entire match, only time he wasn't in there is when he was killed and made a mad dash back to it. He'd plant a couple of Claymores in the building and would hide in a corner, dog raping anything that got through. The entire team was getting fed up with him. It was hilarious. XD

It was hilarious also because my team, and I'll admit myself included, were as equally single minded to get him out of there. He killed as often as he was killed. I think he had something like 22 kills and 25 deaths. It was freaking ridiculous. XD

Them campers are always a nuisance. Only way to get a laugh out of them is to kill them with the tip of you'r knife. Met few similar guys as this "Grog" lad but cannot recall any names right now.
Last one was in Sabotage in Derail... Sadly he was on our side and camped at the spawn with the bloody bomb. We practically invited the whole enemy team to kill the guy, just so that we could get the game going.

He ended up with about 11 kills and 30 or so deaths, when my friend (Huor4.Leetti) decided to nuke the level.

One life does make a difference in game play. No constant spawning and next match teams tend to change tactics. SnD requires a lot of prediction. Also Domination is one of the more unbalanced of the objective game types unless you're playing on a mirrored map like wasteland or highrise. There's always 2 best spots to defend easily while one spot is always placed far away from the center one. The side that starts off on the shitty side tends to almost always lose. So if you want a fair match of domination competitive wise, then you should only play the mirror ones.

btw, anybody go booster hunting?

I dont think im gonna prestige ever again on MW2 because theres nothing 'prestige' about it!

Im happy with the weapons that ive set up now too and ill be damned if im gonna 'lose' them again.

My friends a glutton for punishment though and hes gonna do it the old fashioned way because 'he doesnt like the design of the prestige badge he has now'. (Its bollocks)

I never really understood the benefit of Prestiging. I spend hours playing to get everything unlocked, I don't wanna have to do it again just for a random icon next to my name.

Some of my friends have mentioned that IW is gonna put something (hopefully) special at the end of 10th Prestige. But I find that rather unlikely possibility, considering how lazy IW is actually with the game and the network problems.

Before putting something like that in, I'd rather take Dedicated servers and modding support any day. Or at least properly working matchmaking system that really chooses the best host.

Yeah...even if they did I don't have the patience to prestige 10 times when I don't want to even do it once.

Well, if it's something worthwhile, I might just hack myself the 10th prestige rank 70. I got better things to do then to just grind those ranks. Sure it might allow me to gain better reflexes and learn all the maps by the pixels.

But then it reminds me of the MMO times (the grinding and all) and I certainly don't want to recall those.

The only reason that I prestiged in the first place is to unlock the prestige challenges. Thats it!!

I love my FAL and my Striker and nothings gonna come between us ever again. (Camouflage is such a great perk too) :P

FAL is pretty easy to deal with but when you back it up with Striker or AA-12 or M1014, knifers aren't that hard to deal with.. Unless they manage to stun you and side step from your arc of fire.

Now that I think of it, is there way to check how many kills one has done with certain weapon, since I passed the 2.5k kills with Desert Eagle like month ago and would like to know my kill list on that gun.. My own assumption is that the kill amount with it is like at +4000, about 4% being shot kills, rest being tactical knifing.

On the old WaW site you could easily check your gun kill stats, Ive registered on the IW site but I cant access the motherfucker so IDK whether they've got something like that too. (?)
