I'm sure there won't be one hit kills all the time but a body shot should realistically kill you. And you choose different rifles because a few other factors like recoil and rate of fire.

You choose some of the others due to damage multipliers and what type of gameplay. M21 for hardcore, meaning UAV for 2nd perk. Dragunov for hybrid (hardcore and normal usage, but mostly normal), so any 2nd perk besides Stopping Power (because SP does not add onto Dragunov's damage) but most Hybrids go with the option of carrying a P90 as 2ndary weapon. Then comes the choice of the M40 or Barret for normal games attached with SP, usually it falls into preference, M40 also becomes 75 damage instead of 70 when given Acog so with SP it is instant kill on any part of the body (instant fav online). Ignoring R700 because it's the worst of all the snipers and is only used to finish getting the HS achievement.

i skipped most of the cod games since they were ww2 shooters and there was soooo many out in the market at the time. mw was the first one i played and religiously loved, as well as identifying that infinity ward is the cod genius, whereas activision can bite my ass (it tricked me with waw them bastards!). new guns and mission settings will see to it that i waste many hours of my life again :)

chances are you be playing MP or special ops since the single player campaign i think is beatable in 1-2 days.

The SAS sniper mission was the best mission for me in COD4.You had to crawl your way through a field of moving tanks and guards...so many death by getting runned over

The sniper mission was my favorite as well. It really allows you to concentrate while sniping. I hope MW2 will give us more interesting missions and more customizations to our weaponry. ^_^

So can't wait for this game only 21 more days till it's release. Though I have a question for everyone.
