I believe it was Pac-man on my brother's Atari 2600. I was like 3 at the time. Then Super Mario Bros. came a little soon after that.

Mario Bros - my uncle bought me a NES with the game and i played that with my brother for hours on end

Atari 2600 was the second system we had(i think my brother may still have it as his house). i can't remember the first. i vaugely rember the controler having a cylindrical grip with a triangular knobed joystick on one end.
[edit]: I asked my dad, and he remembered the name of the very first one we had. it was the Fairchild Channel F.
we had a bunch of games for the atari. pitfall, froger, e.t., some sports games(baseball, basketball, etc.), a couple driving games, some game where you shot toothpaste at rows of teeth on the top and bottom edges of the screen.
i played that at school on the apple IIe. mono chrome green moniter.

The first system that I ever owned was the SNES, which was given to me by my relatives from the states and it came with Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda : A link to the past, Mario Kart, and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. To which game I played first, I tried all at them that day, can't remember which one! XD

Mine was also Super Mario Bros on Famicom. I actually beat it a few times and that was I was in high school. I was not able to beat it even once when I was younger...
