not really... you just have to trick the boss into starting and ending the song for you... and it helps to put chrono chross at lvl 1... the -7 dosen't really affect it at all

@rokushou: you're missing on a lot of things. many ps1 rpgs are very good, and this is one of them.

Truly, one of the great epic RPG games on the PS1 era, considering the fact that I played Chrono Trigger after this game (thus not having a background story for it). I lost count of how many hours I spent playing it and unlocking all the endings, but loved every minute of it.

Weirdly enough.. I got bored before I could play it for long enough.. So yeah.. I remember it, but I don't like it.. Chrono Trigger was great tho..

The Chrono series has some of the most compelling stories to ever come from a JRPG. Plus the soundtrack is no slouch either. I will argue that the gameplay is just as generic as every other game of the time, but it has plenty of other strong points to pull it away form the rest of the pack.
