It's games like these that I wish I could understand Japanese. I absolutely love sci-fi games and this one definitely caught my eye.
Learning Japanese is more efficient than waiting for a group to translate this =[

Is there any group that has announced that they'll translate this once it's out yet?I'm aware of no announcements.
Also, of the two that I know of that worked on Alicesoft titles, and going by what information I could find/remember, Takajun (SR) hasn't said anything about it, plus it's more likely he'll still be busy with Majikoi, and Arudoc (BBA) stated that it's highly unlikely he'll work on it.

Yeah, that's the first PV from Alice 2010, the PV that was on the first post.
As for factions:

Seiha should drop that moonlit luver and go for this game instead.
I love every games from Alicesoft because they have a lot of balls both in h-scene and non h-scenes.

Thanks again, Might end up buying it if possible when released. You need to wait a bit though, since ALICESOFT is going to release a different eroge that revolves around Shrine Miko's first lol
EDIT, oh wait they're actually releasing 2 other eroges before going to Daiteikoku.
well, that's worth the wait.

Yeah, its gonna be released in 2011 I believe. Whichever okay cuz, I believe Demonbane and koihime musou is due to be released somewhat soon anyways.
With koihime musou coming out this January I think and demonbane unfortunately is still TBA I got two of the chicks from this game named Al Azif into my 3d custom girl xD
And I hope due to two eroges being released first, it'll give alicesoft more time to work on Daiteikoku and expand it. It'll be disappointing if the fun part of shooting others battleships down is over quick.

from what Ive seen it's coming around spring of 2011. As you can see they aren't afraid to push back their release dates and those of us who cant read Japanese will probably have to wait another 6 months for a full translation.

6 Months is like a dream come true. lol
problems
1. No group has claim that they will translate this.
2. there's no guarantee that a group will do it
3. I've never heard a group can finish translating in 6 months for this kind of this kind of Caliber. (Daiteikoku would be as big as Sengoku Rance)
It's the usual 2-3 years normally. just Look at Sengoku Rance, It was released in 2006, and finally got a finish translation in 2009, that's 3 years. :D

My problems point 1 and 2 should be focused more than the actual translation.
If there's no group interested, then oviously there's no translation. That's why I always calculated in the "Overall Time" from the original release to the translation finish.
If I refer to Big BAng Age, it took almost 7 years, until we finally see a translation.
so in the end, It's "how fast translation groups starts a project" not "how fast a group can translate."
Because it's proven that people doesn't care how long the translation is when the project is "Green-lit", they will loyally wait for it.
So:
Are there any group willing to translate it immediately?", like "My girlfriend is the President" project, which was hella fast in terms of opening up the project and finishing up the translation.
