based on the popularity of rance it think it's safe to assume it will be translated, I don't know for sure if it will be done right off the bat like "my girlfriend..." but one can hope right?

It's too bad we cant force raze to do this, I would be willing to help edit and QC if I had a translator.

How long it took for a group to pick it up and how long it takes them to translate it ain't the same thing dude.



Rance was a big hit among the internet community interested in VN's so it'll surprise me if it didn't happen.

Indeed it's not the same, but like I said, I calculate how fast a a VN get's translated is by the "overall time", not just how fast the translation is.

Basically
Original release time + Time from overall translation = Overall time of waiting.



That's why I said it doesn't matter how fast a translation is, it's all about getting the green-lit first from a group.

Just remember that this is my view on how long a VN get's translated.

regardless of when it's translated I foresee this being a great game that involves strategy and rape and thus it is my most anticipated game of 2011. Would be nice to find other games that mesh my love for strategy and rape together, Rance and big bang are very unique.

I just noticed one thing, Daiteikoku might be bit similar to Daibanchou in terms of how each province works cuz I saw in one of the screenshots provided, there's a Condition and Peace level XD

Edit: while I was poking around on that site, I just noticed that there'll be a total of twelve countries, japan included. lol Thats good cuz that means I get plenty of stuff to blast.

Not just similar, it's actually a "spiritual sequel" hence the DAI in Daiteikoku.

It uses the same old system, form the first generation of the DAI series Daiakuji, Daibanchou is the 2nd Generation.

Need a next game for the BEAT series. (Beat Angel escalayer, Beat Blade Haruka)

Ahh, a spiritual sequel. Halo does that alot especially when they want to remake a map for fans. lol. And the queen of the england in there uses a sword that looks like half scimitar and half sword.

Thank God, looks like I don't have to "hold myself" when attacking characters, since you'll get them anyway if their fleet is annihilated. How many times I killed certain characters in Daibanchou... lol Damn you Rouga for being too strong sometimes.

Kinda complicated at first, but maybe it's actually simple when you play it.

So.. it looks like it has four weapon types and Its better to not annihilate every single fleet, let some survive so you can recruit em especially the generic commanders and finish the map by assaulting the rear stuff. xD

Alicesoft probably got what it takes to succeed in the west coz it got gaming combined with eroge. Its part of the reason why I played sengoku rance for a really long time.

Nope it's A-OK to annihilate them, cause you still get them anyways after conquering the planet.

As you can see at 1:19, the Japanese Fleet, annihilated Rinfa's Fleet. And as you can see she still joins up.
