DAITEIKOKU

I think its somewhat random around turn 7 if you only taken the China places maki will show up in the next battle with togo so i reload and save him for Hawaii. once i reach turn 7 i Blitz Maylay and Midway with 2 crew i use the generic generals to hit Maylay and the other places around there while i have my main crew do Midway then go to that 1 place that has bad weather so cant use beam ships. Cant say that this way is a sure way to get her to show though so kinda gotta trial and error really.

Do you guys know how to get the Super Battleship Yamato?
I was able to get it on my first playthrough but now even if I used all the event choices there seems to be none that triggers it's research.

I think you have to lose twice in defending Japan.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he's talking about the series of ships that go from 360-540 command.

just beat the game again and got maki ending. Going to go for Rita ending now lol so funny cause in my maki ending game i built nothing but fish markets for kicks and gigles so now i got a ton of fish ships to choose from lol gonna save some money for the start at least. Just wondering whats the best strat aginst the sumo disaster dude? He keeps showing up in areas that have black outs so i cant use my carriers agisnt him. Also was wondering how do i get the last tier of missile ships gotten them once but cant remeber how i did.

Those massive ships with several lines of turrets that look like WWII battleships lunched into space?
I'm pretty sure you can get those without loosing in defending of Japan. Unless of course, I'm thinking about the same ships.
...Who are pretty useless really. At that command point cost, lousy radar value and price, you're generally better off building Tier 5-6 cruiser fleets with occasional heavy carrier and battleship.

Bah, damned patch for borking my saves. Would've showed you a screenshot on how not so useless they are, I remember I have Reita Adolf using an upgraded mega battleship with like 900 lazer and 300 missle damage combined with one of the disassters giving 300 laser damage while costing only 30 command point but only has 30 hp. Supported by two most advanced destroyer flotillas.
She's freakin fast :)while poring almost 1300 laser damage + 300 missle damage as a bonus just for kicks. Seen her burst through some silly anti laser fleets who thought they could laugh at my retia.
But i do vaguely remember that there's a third tier of megabattleships that's unriddable. Only the dog guy in daiteikoku have enough command ability to fly it he has max of 960 but burns like 600 points on his battleship which's also antimissle as well. xD

I dunno, I never tested the conditions. I ended up formatting my HD and haven't really found the will to get back to playing this game (having beaten it a bunch already).
I found these conditions looking around:
津波ãŒç™»å ´ã—ã¦ã„る状態ã§
日本防衛戦ã«ï¼’連続ã§æ•—北ã™ã‚‹ã¨é–‹ç™ºå¯èƒ½ã«
But like I said, I haven't done testing.

Spoiler:
Yes I was talking about those series of super battleships (as seen above) and I manage to unlock by loosing twice on while defending Japan. Anyways Thanks Sariour. I can finally say that I manage to finish every single feat in this game although the custom commanders are really broken and made most of my later playthrough so much easier.

Anyone have any clue as to what the hell is going on in the Mikado ending? All I got was that there was a time skip.

Think it skips forward like 20 years or something like that. He looks back at picture of his old team he had or something as he tells his tale to mikado.

I need someone to test something for me, if anyone has some time I need you to look at this:
Id like to know what you get when you convert the files, if editing is possible and if it's possible to see script from the game. A project I'm interested in might be involve this stuff and I need to know if it's a viable option. All credit goes to JunMisugi for finding this.
I've just released a tool that lets you convert the ACX files into plain text, so you can translate them, or even cheat by editing the numbers.
Attached here, mirrored at: http://tlwiki.tsukuru.info/images/7/7f/ACXtoTXT.zip
You can also decrypt and decompress or re-compress and encrypt the AIN file using the same tool as for Rance 2, and start hacking the text that way.
Edit: Text editing tool (NOT my code) is available at http://tlwiki.tsukuru.info/images/f/f5/Alicesoft_text_editing.7z. This is from the Rance 2 translation project, and I added in a copy of Crass so it will also work with older games (Sengoku Rance)
And heres the direct link to it ( since he uploaded his program via file attachement)
