I started playing again. I was nowhere near as good as I used to be. Kinda have to get back into playing

I wish I could play more DDR. Too bad it is hard to find an arcade here to play DDR as well as me not owning a pad for home use.

Now that you mention it, I need to go buy Supernova 1 and 2 for the PS2 so at least I can play it.

you all know that im also talking about DDR on home consoles too right -3- not just the ones in arcades -__-

I beat Max 300 (Super Max Me Mix) on heavy on the actual arcade machine.

And where's the fun if you're not using your feet? :/

Honestly, I feel like the arcade versions of the games are the most ideal ones, especially DDR Extreme. That has, in my opinion, the best setlist in the entire series.



Speaking of being as good as before, let's compare skills right now, shall we? Using the older scale of 10, where can all of you comfortably put yourself? For example, I'm almost about to reach 7-steps comfortably, though I can clear the following song from time to time, which is a 9-step.

I just recently started playing again. I don't really care that I'm not a super pro at it. I find it really fun anyway!

Why does it HAVE to be? Are you playing with a gamepad?

I sometimes go out to the mall with some buddies and play DDR at the arcade. We all suck.
It's always fun watching the pros go crazy though.

I love DDR. It's been forever since I've played though and I used to be pretty good too (heavy mode).

TBH I miss this game, I haven't played much of it since getting into IIDX

Well to gauge how well I am I usually just list songs I can pass:

'La senorita virtual'
'Healing Vision [Angelic mix]'
'Least 100 secs'

all on the medium level.

Medium would be Standard, right? The pink level?

Also, FUCK YES, Least 100 sec. Seriously fun song. Standard's chart has an awesome middle section with the alternating steps. <3

I got giddy like a little girl meeting gackt when I saw Least 100 on the songlist in IIDX.

other good ones: AA and 'can't stop falling in love'

I used to play some DDR but I grew bored pretty quickly, DDR has a serious lack of good songs with fun steps, and overall I'd say it's way too easy. Going, as Art did by the 10-grade system I could do most 7-9 steps with fairly good scores. No triple A's perhaps, but good enough.

Also, all the kool kids play ITG.

I was that one Asian guy that plays on heavy all the time, drawing in crowds of people...
