Deep sense of loss after finishing VN

Well, if you invested too much feelings and emotions into the game, it's pretty much guaranteed you'll feel a deep sense of loss. I do play VNs, but I keep my personal investment to a minimum so as to save me the trouble of feeling that loss.Play, enjoy, finish, move on.
Yeah.. I really did get too attached to the game. I get afraid after I finish one though, and until i see another one that's good I'm afraid that I will be disappointed. Maybe it's just because I want a sequel, even though I know that a sequel for a lot of stories would be a bad idea. I'll just be glad that I haven't finished all the routes for the girls yet... so I'll just do that.

Not just VNs but animes, games and other stuff as well.

I feel the same too. Sadly, most VNs just dun have any replay value. It's like when a good anime series ends and there's no sequel in sight. It just feels like you've lost a companion that's been with you all those days...

I... always feel like I just lost something precious whenever I finish a VN or Anime. I am scared to finish this VN, since it seems to be almost over. I am absolutely sure other people have felt this desire for the story to continue. How do I fill this hole in my heart?Well thats new in a way cause when you finished something there must be a sense of accomplishment and not loss don't you think?
