Devil May Cry Collection to be released on PS3 and 360

Whenever you start a new game in the Special Edition of DMC 3, you can either play the game with the option of using over 30 or so Gold orbs from the get go when you die if you pick Yellow or just the normal mode where you have to purchase them from Red Orb purchases in Gold, in which the amount you'll get will be more less than what you're allowed to in Yellow Orb mode.

oh ok, since I never really die, I never worried about yellow orbs. unless its Dante Must die...

Well, since this game already has a DMD related trophy, you may as well put that mode to use if you're gunning for it, it may not be as hard as DMC 1's version, but DMC 3's DMD is still just ridiculous. But unless you're a no damage pro who uses no items, Golden Mode is still a good way to get familiar on how to beat the challenges DMD has to offer when you fail, and it eases the frustration you'll get playing the game normally as well.

Just a heads up for those living near a local Gamestop in the United States, the collection is already out since last week for only $40, so those who can't wait till tomorrow can get their copies. As for me, it may be awhile before I get it here in Trinidad since I have to arrange my finances first before I can go about playing this collection any time soon, but to those who already or eventually get their own, I say have fun!

After finally getting my copy of DMC HD Collection a couple days back, and getting to play a 6 hour binge of DMC 3 HD this morning, I'm suddenly reminded of why it's my favorite game of all time. The combat is more fast paced than 4's and Jump Cancelling is more easier to do, I still have the touch of the Yamato rebounds now that I've unlocked Vergil to get the S rank and difficulty related trophies since comboing with him is more different than Dante's.

Looks like this is the best part of the collection for me until I'm ready to take on DMC 1 soon.

I just can't get enough of DMC 3 HD, playing it after seven years reminds me of how beast this game was and why I couldn't turn away from it after playing just once. Halfway there to the plat, but I still have the difficulty trophies to go after beating Hard mode, then there's finishing Bloody Palace...

As of yesterday, I managed to add the platinum of Devil May Cry 2 to my recent plat collection, thus having completed the DMC HD collection since I got it in late July and I must say, I had a lots of fun revisiting the original trilogy and seeing its play value. Having the satisfaction I didn't have before by beating the Dante Must Die difficulty was rewarding and I sincerely must thank Capcom for making the collection possible for current and old school gamers alike. I'm just disappointed there were no leaderboards for DMC 3, I'd like to be on that list.

Now, make a trophy patch for DMC 4 to complete my collection, Capcom.
