Ive heard rumors about a new PSP, but unless it has a memory card slot that can fit a memory stick duo, as for the 360 rumor, i dont believe it.

I skipped this generation altogether. last console i got was a plain old xbox. i've only seen about 20-30 games spread across all three that looked good to me. i'm waithing for the next generation. though i might get some of this gen when the prices plumet after next gen comes out.

Same goes for me. The current gen doesn't really do it for me, plus I still have shitloads of games to catch up on for PS2, since that console has a lot of gems in the refuge that never made it outside of Japan.

I own this gen current console and I'm itching to buy another new one, the new 3Ds looks tempting if it can truly deliver pure 3D with/without glasses

I'm interested in the 3DS, I admit. And also the 360 Slim rumours. Although mainly because I don't have a 360 yet and when I get one, I don't want it to die in ~3 years.

Consoles are cheap so if a new one comes out just retire your old one to be a music player or something.

All consoles and handhelds are doing just fine. Its the fans that go and criticize systems which make rumors. Its a dead consle war basically but just among the fans.
Only major screw up that has happened and should never happen again is the PSP-GO.
Nothing's wrong with the 360 only bad hardware and PS3 just has a small selection of games. The wii's graphics may be bad but i rather it that way im i play it more than any other system.
Bunch of new "Ideas" and whatnot but the PSP2 (if it ever happens) would only be a recovery tactic because of the PSP go. The 3DS sounds interesting and im most likely going to buy it, still want my DSi XL too :>.

Yeah I really want a current gen console. Most likely the ps3 but I am not quite sure. Butim afraid I'll end up paying quite a bit for something that will be updated within the next year or two so I'm nervous. I actually am going to wait to see what they say at e3 justto be safe.

Before when a game came out, one was paying for a game that would entertain them for the time being and one would say "I made a great purchase in value" (exceptions with some games, including homebrew hack and Action 52). Now they just focus on "how many games can I sell if its develop in this form?" and pay too much attention to the casual market; in addition to the ignorant comments, one from Bandai-Namco "the reason people are not buying games is because their expensive, let's make less development to reduce the cost to buy a game" and in Sony "the reason the psp isn't selling well is because of pirates".
Let's get one thing straight, make games that will interest us and are worth the money we spend; it's easy not over-complicated.
