Oh... I get it but at the same time, I don't. could you give some example heroes of carries?
Edit: if you say that Broodmother is a capable carry, then that must be my forte. Since whenever I choose Brood, odds are that we usually win, with me probably be the top player... yep, I'm that confident.

true but that is a for the lulz build... who in their right minds would give 6 divines just one hero...
that build aside I still think mort is one of the best carries... followed by nerubian weaver... Weaver vs troll 1 v 1 troll looses...

I think an ideal carry needs strong ability to push line,and can escape when enemies want to gank.so,razor,morph,potm,storm(when he has SS)are the best in my opinion.I dont like troll, mort,void for they have to farm very long time which will make your team 4V5 in the beginning.moreover,Icefrog wants to reduce the time of match in recent versions.so,we need a carry that can lead team in 25 minutes,that's why morph,tinker are so popular in recent versions,just for their ability of pushing 2 or 3 lines and powerful farm speed.

...and yeah.... new razor can be a tank-slash-attacker. that bastard absorbs the attack power it's desired target. can spam 1st skill. is dangerous when ss is targeting you since each bolt reduces armor (HOLY SHIT!).
That's why My razor relies solely on the enemy's damage... SINCE I TAKE THEM! Thus, I mostly buy defensive items. with the exception of the usual treads, a possible satanic, and the Buriza.

@Bitice:Yes mort is hard to powerup, but i disagree with void and troll they are capable of ganking at around lvl 11 with enough back up, and when it comes to late games troll and void are one of the strongest late gamers because of their stun and ability to chase their enemies

In version 6.59,NEC,DP,tinker and undying are 4 imba heroes who have ability to push and are hard to be ganked which give much pressure to traditional agi carries.usually a match will end in 40 minutes.from then on,carries change into heroes who can push line and farm speedily or have extra damage to tower like Syllabear.I admit troll , void and mort have high dps but they can be restricted by items like Guinsoo and shiver's guard.

It's anybody's ball game, actually. If barathrum builds the proper items, rhasta is done for. And vice versa.
...and DAMN ns and nr is a serious option that would bring DotA players to the test >_<.l
