Duke nukem forever
0
You've waited 13 years already, so what's another few months? Reports are suggesting that the comically delayed and subsequently cancelled Duke Nukem Forever has been resurrected, with Borderlands developer Gearbox tasked with taking the project to the finishing line.
Having begun in 1997, development on Duke Nukem Forever had seemingly halted after the game's development staff at 3D Realms were let go in May last year. Due to 3D Realms failure to complete the game it was sued for breach of contract by publisher Take-Two, a matter that was resolved earlier this year.
But that's not where Duke Nukem Forever's story ends, it seems. A report on Kotaku suggests that Duke is alive and that Gearbox would be taking the game to completion. Both Take-Two and Gearbox are remaining tight-lipped, although it wouldn't be the first time that the Borderlands developer was associated with the cigar-chomping action hero; Gearbox was outed as the company behind Duke Begins, a project that was scrapped before it ever saw the light of day.
It is said that more could be revealed at September's PAX, and that a playable demo could even emerge as soon as this year.
The story of Duke Nukem Forever is a strange and unique one.
Could this be the final twist in the tale?
(i am sorry if this topic already exists)

I hope not, because i have heard that the game is pretty much complete and one of the final persons that was on the 3D Realms team got to play small bits of the game, which took him about FIVE HOURS to finish. The reasons the game took so long could be describe as this:

Room101
Waifu Collector
Here we go again....
It would really be something if they pulled it off, but personally,
I think they should just let the sleeping dogs lie.

but if the game is pretty much complete and if is Gearbox that is working on the game, i think that the king will be back in style, but let´s see if in setember´s PAX this turns out to be real, if so i hope that we got to see some real gameplay and maybe a demo later on.
( the fans deserved it for wainting so long )

I'm surprised people still care about this, it's like the longest cock tease ever.

It is exactly because of that that people talk still about it, they want to see if time waiting was worth it.

If this does get released I will finally learn what the hell Duke Nukem guy is like. xD Until then, never, and I'm going to amuse myself with Duke Nukem forever memes.
