E3 2011

Overall I think Nintendo probably took it again for me this year, but a smidge.
Kind of a hard call, I think all three of them failed to bring their A-Game in a big way.
Microsoft was actually pretty good. As much as we "hardcore" gamers may not like their continuing focus on Kinect at conventions, it is a vital part of increasing their market share. I have a hard time faulting them from doing what is necessary. Same goes for the kid games, they are trying to groom the next generation of gamers - that is a smart move all around even if it makes us feel like we've been cast aside.
Kinect did get a little tiring after awhile, but Modern Warfare 3 and Halo 4 was enough to keep me interested in seeing the whole conference through. Besides, the technology they showed with Kinect might actually prove quite invaluable if used in constructive ways. It could easily put Wii/Move to shame if they would work on it effectively.
Honestly, I admit I didn't watch Sony. I'm just not big on the PS3 at this point, and I rather regret ever buying a PSP. That said, I did catch up on the PS Vita highlights and information. While I still think I'm getting a 3DS before I ever consider a PSV, I admit it is still a great piece of technology at an amazing price point. I'm actually hoping they'll give Nintendo a run for their money in the handheld market and drive down MSRP for both the 3DS and PSV in the years to come.
Nintendo. What can I say? The Zelda thing was just funny, but I'm also a Zelda fanboy so it isn't really fair for me to even attempt an unbiased opinion. The 3DS is looking more and more like something I plan on getting this holiday season. As for the Wii U, I was rather skeptical (and in fact laughing at it) while I was watching the conference. I'm withholding judgment on it for now. Zelda HD looked amazing, but nothing else about the device has me drooling yet, and I refuse to bank on good will like Nintendo fanboys.

This E3 left me with an empty plate of promises: no Last Story, Xenoblade, X9 (dammit Capcom), Fatal Frame 4 release (won't give up, will just have to make a company and release it here), Strider limbo (like most series), Legends 3 prototype, etc...
The only hope could be Luigi's Mansion 2
Edit:
*Looking at previous posts*
Wait, wah....Darkstakers creator, Tecmo, and....! Hm...should I change my view...?

E3 was a disappointment for me this year. None of the conferences really impressed me, but that's what I get for being overly hyped for it.
Microsoft: D+
-I gave it a + because it made me laugh.
Sony: C+
-A few things interested me, but everything else I either didn't care about or already knew.
Nintendo: B-
-Better presentation, cool looking games (especially Kid Icarus), but not enough info on Wii U (Not that I'm gonna get it or anything).

Lol people actually negged me for that funny E3 pic in my previous post, worthless fanboys without the balls to even come forth speak their mind shouldn't even bother to visit the internet if they can't accept a little subjectivity and humour.

You hardly have reason to complain about someone -repping you for a comment like that. When you make a post like that you should expect repercussions like that whether they be justified in your mind or not. Making a comment like that and not expecting someone to find disfavor in it is rather subjective as well.

Because you make it sound like super serious business.
Also, you kinda sound like an broken record.

Maybe the pic was originally done for last year's E3 and that person had seen it before? They ranked in the same order. I personally loved it. :D

To get my point across.
I just find it funny how you could comment about someone -repping you because you trolled a topic for a few laughs. That is how people typically get both positive and negative reps around here. Doesn't make sense why you would bother mentioning it when you were practically begging for reaction to your picture regardless of whether it was to your liking.

Trolling??
I was gonna list my favourite pre-shows (Nintendo>Sony>MS) and found this pic that fit perfectly how i though the three conferences were handled, and at the same time was funny. Are you telling me that's trolling?
And my post atop of this page wasn't about the neg itself, it was about the fact the people are to chicken to actually come forth and make an argument for themselves.
