E3 2012

E3 is right around the corner so i figured i'd make a topic. you can talk about anything related to E3. could be a rumor or anything that will be there that your excited about. or something you hope will be there.

update: MTV2 AND spikeTV will show nintendo's confrence presentation on june 5 at noon ET commercial free, (i'll try to find a more specific time). and on there usual site

sony will show theres online, here's a countdown (its official). and on g4 commercial free.

microsoft will show theres a day before the big show on spikeTV commercial free at 12:30PM ET/ 9:30AM PT. and on xbox live.

I have a feeling this E3 isn't going to be that big of a deal compared to the other ones, but we'll see I guess.

Nintendomination this year. I'm sure of it.

yeah pretty much what you said. sony i don't think really has anything that would steal the show. unless you count final fantasy versus xii. and microsoft confirmed all they'll show is social media stuff. and nintendo as far as we know only has the wiiU, but a lot of people don't seem that interested. but it's better then what the other two has so what cruz said nintendomination this year

I don't think Blizzard is going to be at E3.

The one I'm interested about is Nintendo's conference. Not only should the WiiU be there but also some news on 3DS software as well. There's a rumor of a 2D Castlevania game, I hope it comes true. Sony's should be interesting as well, I wanna see how games for the Vita are coming along, as well as any PS3 game they could throw. Microsoft.....aside from Halo 4(for some, not me) expect something as stupid as Google+ or Showtime on Live. Aside from that, not much else. Of course, there will be some awesome third party games as well, like every year. We'll see what happens.

Hopefully we'll get a release date for paper Mario, or news on a new Zelda for the 3DS. Crossing my fingers for Zelda 3DS news. As far as the vita goes it pretty much where the 3DS was when it first launched or worse. Plus from what I've gathered a lot of vita projects were cancelled and moved to the 3DS or they just backed out. so sad as it is for me to say but, it isn't looking good at all for vita. Hell the psp is selling more then vita consistently and 3DS is selling 4x more at the least. I hope vita pulls through cause I want one and it'd be a shame for it to die. I can't really say anything about Microsoft i don't pay attention to it. This E3 will be great as far as nintendo goes it's gonna be great. Microsoft seems to have as much motivation as shikimaru. And Sony I'm hoping for the best expecting the worst. I'm sorry about being a downer about Sony, vita especially, Hang in there Vita.

I really hope something is announced about the Alan Wake franchise, be it another side game, or hopefully Alan Wake 2.

Yeah, the Vita right now is lacking and its sales are quite bad which may spell doom to many people. For that reason, I eager to see how Sony will not let that happen. This E3 is crucial for it. PS3-looking games are okay, but original and interesting games are what the Vita needs. I don't want the Vita to die as well, it's a great hardware. I have fate in the Vita :)

Same here I hope it makes it. But I'm not gonna buy a vita until either it starts selling well and isn't doomed or they make god eater vita

Yeah, that much is a given in my case. As much as I would like the Vita to succeed, I won't buy a system if it doesn't have a lot of games I like. There are very few games I would buy right now but not enough to rush and buy one.

so it's safe to say that vita has a lot of potential buyers. we're just waiting for the right game to come out. lol this is thread is starting to be more about the vita failing then E3.

Well, it's an E3 expectation thread, so it's alright. This is my reason for expecting Sony's conference at least.

You're implying that the wii, the DS, and 3DS don't exist anymore. There's still new things for them.(especially the 3ds)

Not only that they still have a lot to reveal for the Wii U, which should be interesting.


Sony has some things they're going to (Or I hope they will) announce this year that are interesting. Maybe there conference will be vita damage control.

Everyone know that Microsoft isn't trying this year though. Hopefully they'll provide some laughs.
