Well more people play games than all those you listed combined and if minors are allowed to vote on who got the Poo Award then that strengthens the fact that the majority of the people that voted were gamers and despised EA, well it's not like the company hid the fact that they were carrying out a plan for customers to getting less for what they payed for.

I'm just going to comment, that Ea didn't really ruin me3. Only thing Ea really did to that was the Day one DLC and the online pass for multiplayer, (considering all x-player dlc has been free, it evens out) The main community consense downer was the ending, which was all Bioware.

Well, it's about damn time.

EA makes sucky games lately, and the awaited C&C Generals 2??? THEY ANNOUNCED THAT IT WILL BE AN ONLINE FREE TO PLAY GAME!!! And you know what's the worst about free to play? Your gaming experience sucks until you pay for the game. I've been into this shit since free to play is currently the most prevalent gaming system here in flip land.

It's like when someone criticises Blizzard. They can't even hear you over the sound of sitting on a mountain of gold, why would they care.

Finally some good news about EA.

Mass effect 3 wasn't a bad game it just fell under the amazing game with a bullshit ending, but that doesn't excuse the order things ea has done, I call them things because I wouldn't some of what they made games...

EA is a 50/ 50 company for me, and even at it, most I care about from EA is the Need For Speed series xP
NFS: Most Wanted by Criterion looks good so far (I liked Underground, but I'm not one of those Underground fanboys that cry out "Underground 3 plz!" or something like that) and I enjoyed Hot Pursuit 2010 (although only thing it lacked was replay value, as it's easy to get 100%)

More than likely, all the critics would be doing the same moves EA/Activision are doing right now.

I'm not surprised. They release a patch's worth of updates each year for their sports games and say it's a new game worth $60. I understand how it was back before updates could be transferred to consoles (admit it, there's lower than a 1% of people who buy the game who change the rosters manually to keep it up to date) but come on. That's just greed.

Then there's Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age II, online passes, day 1 DLC that isn't free, etc. The only companies that I see could beat EA would be Activision and Capcom.

EA has been pissing us off a lot lately. Though, I'm holding off from crucifying them until they come out with Dead Space 3. They already have me questioning what they've done with the revamp on the combat system and coop, but I'm praying that they make it good and not shit.

A couple years ago EA said that the games were too expensive and we are just digging our own graves. They said that they needed to change the way games are purchased and handled.

Fast forward a year or two AAAAAAAND- Online Passes.

ME3 was good but it felt so empty. I wish there would've been more side missions that actually had combat.

EA, the worst company in America? I can't really imagine that. America is full of greedy, inhuman companies (and companies are that already in general). As awful as EA is, I can't believe that there aren't worse ones.

But the "award" was apparently decided by ordinary people, instead of people who are actually knowledgeable about corporations, so it's no surprise that EA got it. Hell, they even pointed it out themselves with their statement that "bank presidents, oil, tobacco, and weapons companies are all relieved they weren’t on the list".

I just looked this up. They also changed the name to just Command & Conquer. Welp.

Well it's no surprise they got this seeing as how they messed up C&C. Add yearly sports games and NFS to the pile and there you go.
