Heh, couldn't find any articles already covering this, so decided to do it...
Oh yeah, the newest installment in the Total War series...
I'ts going to be bigger badder and probably even more filled with mistakes in 1.0 than it's predecessors.

I always loved the Total War series and can't wait for it honestly. It is awesome, however what I really hope is that they make a nice smooth UI. I hated the one in Medieval II. The one in Rome looked far "friendlier" on the eyes.
As for the naval battles: It looks like we can finally add some strategy to those aswell and not just watch our armies get drowned somewhere in the middle of nowhere by a retarded captain :)

Yeah I agree... But luckily for us it is fairly easy to modify the game, and there is a rather large community doing soD
But I think that the naval battles is going to be awesome, filled with small problems in the beginning, but awesome.
And having almost only ranged combat is going to be a very new and hopefully good thing. I hope...

I hope that they upped the ammunition of the units, because I hated that the archers ran out of arrows so quickly. It was freaking annoying having to retreat with the best archer units because they were running out of ammo again :(

Just got ETW and I love the total war series it's one of the best turn based strategy games. This one is no dissapointment it's really good love it a little complex but i'll adapt.
I'm only sad that so few people on FAKKU play it.

Ye, seems like for most of the people on FAKKU, startegy games like Empire Total War isn't just right for them
For me, It's the game after L4D that I play regulary atm....( Btw: Sweden rocks ^^ )
