I need a good emulator that has no viruses on it. I would also like for it to come with the ROM's for it (since i wanna play the golden sun series again). I want also a SNES one but that can wait until I can get one from a friend at school. Thanks

try romulation.net... you need an account but registering is free and there is a DL limit... but they have a vast collection and you won't even notice the limit since it's point based...
also my mistake on size... wasn't MB but KB... misread it...

Actually, I find DopeROMs better, they have 2500 different games in 2-3 different languages.

Al said and stated. On that note i'd like to advice you the Fire Emblem (Tactical turn based game, VERY good plots, awesome game) and the Golden Sun series. (I can't really explain GS, just play it or read a good review.)

Hmmm, VBA didn't work for you? Next to impossible, most likely a mistake on your part since it has served me well for over 7 years. Aah well, different pc's i guess.

you can find the roms on www.doperoms.com
the page its really to use, u click the left side of the page, to select the type of rom then u select on the searchbar the name of da game, then a list will appear, u clck the one u like, it will redirect u to the same page only a lil different, then select download, select da folder where u wanna keep it and then click ok ;)
as for the emulator a irecommend "visualboy advance" i have it :D
