Action-RPG ("Tales" games)
Strategy-RPG (FF:T and Disgaea)
RPG (Final Fantasy and a myriad of others)
Action (Legend of Zelda, TES, etc)
Dungeon Crawler (Anything I can get my hands on)
3rd Person Shooter (Gears of War, S4 League)

I'm a RPG player, things like MGS, KH, MH.
Suck Badly at FPS so NO.

I like any game that is fun, I dont stick to just one genre, but I am a big fan of turn based games like Advance Wars and Disgaea.

If it's fun, I'll play it. Though RPG's are what I usually play.

I gotta admit, I'm huge on srpgs. Fire emblem, fftactics, tactics ogre, disgaea... competitive pokemon. Best genre for me.

I like RPGs, specially the Dragon Quest and Tales series.

Hack and Slash action games like GoW, Castlevania LOS, DMC, Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno and so on have always been my favourites :). I do like 2D fighting games but for the most part my execution sucks which means I mostly play 3D fighters (Tekken, DOA, VF)

RPG-wise I only like the tales series which has real-time combat and a huge combo system and MH; both of which are A-RPGs.

This poll needs a Tower Defense option. Then I will vote.

This. Though, if I had to choose, I guess I'd have to say FPS. I practically grew up with that genre. From Wolfenstein 3D, to Turok, to Halo: CE, and to RAGE, I've always had a FPS game on standby for those times when I feel like blowing away hordes of mooks with my hand-held warcrime guns. And I gotta say, it never really gets old for me.

RPGs are my preference but ill play anything thats fun.
