Favorite Video Game Genre?

RPG!!! It's always fulfilling to go on an adventure :D

Fighters, Shoot em ups, Shooters, and RTS.

It doesn't really matter what the game genre is for me. If it's fun, I'll play it but I guess I'd choose RPG while FPS games come in second since those are the games I seem to play more often.

Stratagey and simulation are not the same. i ilke RTS, but not simulation. you see my dilema?

In order, fighters, shooters, RPG then action/adventure.

But I voted fighters since its my most favorite genre.

Shooters because I play those the most, but RPG is a close second.

i play lots of shooters but i actually prefer RPG games more..

All kind of RPG's (especially these table ones.) And Visual Novels of course ;D

I prefer Strategy. Specifically RTS. Though Rpg is my second favorite.

I'll tell you what I DON'T like: RTS. I say that cause I'm terrible at 'em.

Otherwise my favorite would be the "I find it fun" genre.

I have alot, but i chose shooter. Since i mostly have fps games.

I play first person shooters mostly, but i do pick up other games also when I feel like it.

RPG of course, that and Action/Adventure.

As for shooters, If i'm not an alien using space guns an swords, it's not fun.

i have to go with RPG It's always fulfilling to go on an adventure, i can just spend hours on trying to find the side quests and gear especially on RPG's that i love like FF and tales of series

i gotta say im sort of supprised how rpg got the most votes (for now anyway) all lot of people ususally go for shooters

Probably the sports genre... When its 'done right' that is! (Games developers sometimes try to be too damn 'clever' for their own good, Keep it simple)

I really dont like this fancy new "Pro-Tac" shit on NFL and NHL 10 is better than 11 in my opinion. (You could REALLY feel the hits in that game)

Ive choosen Action/adventure because of survival horror games.
Pearls like the early Parasite Eve, Resident Evil and Silent Hill games were and still are my absolute favourites. Second Rank is Rpg, followed by Racing games.

Im basically an allrounder^^

My next favorite would probably be Shooters, although I don't play much but still I like that genre.
