Is it worth 60 dollars? Your Opinon on Multiplayer?
Will there be a Fear 4? Or is it the end.
Was it scary?

So... where're the spoilers?i put that just in case someone came in talking about the ending and stuff, but since you asked here's some spoilers. There are two endings pointman's and fettle's in pointman's ending he kills fettle and then takes Alma baby to raise and Alma dies of child birth. In fettle's ending he takes over pointman's body and takes Alma baby to raise but then he eats and rips Alma to shreds claiming she has something he needs (her power probably). Also Becket the guy from fear 2 makes an appearance but dies after fettle possesses his body to read his mind Becket blows up to nothing. There you go spoilers

I just think it's easier to just use the spoiler function when you're writing your posts (like I did when quoting you) rather than having the whole thread as a danger zone. Some people like reading these threads to see other peoples' opinions on the game. Personally, I like reading spoilers, depending on the subject, but others may not feel the same way. Just saying.

Not reading comments in case of spoils that arnt spoiled.
Im really liking it so far, Not a game I would pay 69.99 for, more like 49 but hey companies have to make some change.
Im on interval 4 right now and im really enjoying it.
Its really more Co-Op driven this time around and alot more difficult in terms of enemies surrounding you.
I traded in Brink for this game and I would say it was a good choice.

Okay question for you, Do you take time to enjoy the game? So far... Was it scary/creepy on a level (playing on normal and up seems to be the best way to get scared)? I get scared easy (Metro2033 fucking black librarians)

Played the game on the day of release in CoOp with a friend.
I had played Fear 1 and 2 just the week before and I can tell you this, the atmosphere of Fear 3 is nothing compared to Fear 1, it felt like a subpar fps with some sound distortion here and there.
In fear 1, you can have 3 weapons, 10 medkits. It's dark, you can really get into it, spooky (well, not that much for me), 7.7Hrs (+7.2Hrs in expension, 14.9Hrs total)
In fear 2, you can have 4 weapons, 3 medkits. More or less dark but felt like I was more often in the light than in darkness. Little to no spooky moment, except some at the beginning and near the end. 12.2Hrs (With the Reborn DLC)
In fear 3, you can only have 2 weapons, medkits are gone and you now have regenerating health. Why the fuck is this called Fear exactly? Where's the dark and spooky ambiance!? Very fast paced, one wave of enemies after another, shorter than the other Fears... 5.9Hrs
Very disappointed with Fear 3 gameplay wise. The story is there, which is great. But the rest... Not so much. May be worth if on sales for 30$ or less, but not for what I paid for.

What!? NO!!! Why the fuck does this keep happening to my precious FPS franchises!?!? First, Wolfenstein, then Duke Nukem Forever, followed by Far Cry 3, and now FEAR 3? I can only pray that DOOM 4 doesn't follow down that dark(er) path.

I just bought Fear 1 and 2 for 10 bucks each. I am enjoying the game so far, love the slomo sexy shotgun kills.
Got my cousin to buy me Fear 3 for free, so I'll give you a verdict next week

I personally think that the game was more combat oriented, and had a small scare factor going on. It had it's moments, but felt as though that it was lacking. The combat was chalenging in some areas.
I think the reason why they aren't making the fear games as dark as the first is because there are people who wouldn't be fond of this at all, possibly complaining about how you couldn't even hit the targets or tuff like that. And why they're so short, cuz they don't want to draw out the story line more than what it needs to be, making areas realisticly sized, and the fact that we don't wanna be map jumping in seemingly pointless areas, for games who have done so have faced harsh critisism.
Another thing about it is that as gamers, we find it hard to even make a challenge out of any games, so we just blow right through it.
