So basically let's talk about Fighting game bosses and their size.
Here's some of the examples
The Big ones
Melty Blood: Actress Again: Dust of Osiris
Arcana Heart 3 : Ragnarok
Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Galactus
In comparison with those regular ones.
Melty Blood: Actress Again : Aozaki Aoko
Shin Kidou Senshi Gundam W Endless Duel: Gundam Epyon
Guilty Gear X2 #Reload: I-No
I've been completed annoyed that recently every fighting game choose to make the final boss fight with a Giant Boss, to makes things worst the usual cheap attacks. When I fight the regular ones, I feel great even though I was beaten to a pulp, but at least they beat me with grace and beauty, not with cheap attacks.
So, basically I prefer to be ass-kicked with skills.
So, any opinions on this?
(I just played Arcana Heart 3, and found out about the boss...)

Ragnarok in AH3 isn't really that hard, just have to remember its attacks. This coming from the guy who played through Story Mode 24 times to get a trophy :V

Ragnarok in AH3 isn't really that hard, Nah, I'm just annoyed knowing it. "What another big boss?"- that's my reaction. In the end it's not about the difficulty of the fight, but more about the size.
I beat Ragnarok after dieing once, since I didn't know about the raining lasers the first time.
so, to keep things relevant, remember that my main question is If you have to lose, which kind of boss do you like?

Azazel from Tekken 6, big son of a bitch and is technically a "learning boss".
Meaning, the longer you fight him, less effective your attacks will be.

I've always prefered a boss that fits the mood of the game whether it's small, normal, or overly large. I have no preference as to which beats the crap out of me, it annoys me equally regardless.

Most of the games I play is always giant boss with cheap attacks. I like it that way also since that can be your excuse as to why you can't defeat them.

Lol, I've been reading the same thing in other forums when I searched around about this topic, but I never read a name (might miss it since I was skimming) so who is it?

to answer the question: personally, I would prefer regular sized bosses kicking my ass. gives me much more satisfaction, as well as a feeling that I can actually beat them (prime examples are I-No from Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Parace L'Sie from Arcana Heart 2 and 3)

imo I believe the developers had in mind that final boss = epic = huge, and I also have no problem with seeing that.

i prefer skilled bosses who beats me up all the time. games today are so easy it's not even funny :V kinda miss how early games kicked my ass because of the difficulty.

King of Fighter has many regular size boss but with such crazy cheapskate attack. Orochi, Zero and IGNIS that have unlimited combo that could drive u the sky till ur dead.

BlinkXPoke
Cards and Hugs abound
Just a regular sized boss. Then I know that the character I faced beat my ass because I'm just not good enough, and not because it used all of three different attacks that I had no kind of tactic against.
