Final Fantasy XI & Suggestions for MMORPGS
0
I was doing some cleaning around my room when I found my old copy of Final Fantasy 11, I bought this game when it was released in 2003 and I've played for about a year until I stopped. The game to me was very disappointing; it took hours to get anywhere, the combat was incredibly slow, no one really help me so I had to solo most of the time, and it felt like the game restricted player's who didn't put a lot of time into it. Which was really sad because I really wanted to like this game. It had the old school final fantasy feel to it, and the game had a lot of class you could choose from. So I started looking for games with the same type of "final fantasy" design but no luck so far, so I want everyone's opinion.
-Should I play Final Fantasy XI again (I have to buy another copy cause it doesn't have the Playonline ID code and CD Key).
or
-Should I look for other MMORPGS and if so please give me suggestions.
*please don't say World of Warcraft, I tried playing it but it didn't do anything for me.

MMORPGS are best played on the PC. If you don't like WoW there is also the league of legends(which is very popular here and Star trek.(Only 2 i know of). Or DCU online for the PS3.

I would suggest taking a look at Aeriagames.com. All their games a free. There's a lot to choose from and you might find something you like.
If you'd rather play an MMO on your PS3... I don't think anyone can help you there. MMOs are really built for PC.
Maybe something like Sacred 2 or buying FFXI again. Other than that I can't help.

Well if you don't like WoW don't even think about Rift, it's pretty much a blatant (inferior) copy.
I'd suggest waiting for either The old Republic or Guild Wars 2, they both seem pretty cool and have enough potential to actually survive in the harsh MMO enviroment where WoW rules with an iron hand.

The Grey Knight :y
If you don't mind it being a little hack-and-slash-type, you can try Rusty Hearts. However, I think it's currently in closed beta phase.
Other than that, I would go with what Kiplerr said and go for Aeria Games. They usually localize some pretty good stuff, including Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE: Online.
