It's shaping up to seem like the true, real ending will be DLC. Why couldn't they just hold the game back and release the entire thing? Why release a half-finished game (no ending) and then try and sell the conclusion separately?

That's SquareEnix for you in DLC form. Making you pay X amount of money for about 22MB of DLC that's already on the disc..

Just got my JP copy a few days ago, and not extremely impressed :/ I guess I'll stick with it for a while and see. The new Crystarium is weird :V

Im actually really anxious to play this game, I rarely am for turn based RPG's. I think square have really sold this for me :)

SE gonna have to go through a great deal to convince me to buy this game, adding QTE and ending being DLC is not a good start.

It wasn't anything too special, but it certainly wasn't bad.

downloaded the demo for mah 360 today. played a lil bit of it. kinda feel smooth during the first battle. will need to play it more when I get the chance.

that battle system is still so horrible.

I haven't played it yet but I heard they just removed more decision making opportunities from the player in battle?

I kinda like the battle system. though I kinda am concerned bout the way you battle. 2 charaters and a monster? is this what I will be using, just sarah adn neol and a monster throughout teh whole game and in battle?

Well I heard you eventually get Snow and Hope in your party but its for a short time

wow seriouesly? they actually cut your option to use characters in battle. (monsters are not included) dam I feel po'ed now cause they are taking ot the option to use different characters in battle. the option to use whoever in yrou party out of teh select characters in teh game has always been a mainstay to teh ff series.

Well I heard you only get them in a couple of chapters in the story then you dont't get to use them later. Don't take ny word as official but yeah... the internet.

PS: playing the demo atm.... the moogle's voice is starting to get annoying. Kinda werid how that flying marshmallow turns into SERAH's weapon.

Also if you like armpits, this is the game for you. Cause, damn.

they did, but from what I hear you only use two characters for 90% of the game anyway. i might just skip the one and reserve hope for vs 13 to be better....on the plus side the game looks AMAZING.

What? The battle system was awesome and the best part from XII.

I'm gonna assume you meant XIII.

The battle system is a bit better in some areas, worse in others.

I'm actually in the process of making a capture of the demo, right now all I have is the battle against Atlas' Hand...

Uploading the same battle, but with a different bitrate to see how big of a difference there is. If it isn't noticeable, I can save 225MB per 6 minutes of recording, and that adds up fast. Though it'll be another hour till the upload's done...

Very nice i love the whole monster-teammate integration and i like the new leveling up system, combats still a bit sucky although i like the new things added into it xD and ofc grahics are epic xD

How different is the lvling system to FF 13? I kinda hated it for being extremely linear ._.

well youve still got the crystarium thingy but now instead of picking a path and then you get the bonus, you pick a bonus and then pick the path you want to level up... its kinda tough to describe xD
