Finger Pain During Fighting Game
0
Fighting games are fun to play, especially when you go all 20 hit combos on your opponent, but after the fun pain comes in our fingertips. No matter you are using a console or pc, the techs in the game can sometimes hard to pull off not at least your thumb skin peels off. Another fact is sometimes it is frusrating that you cant pull out those techs because the game demands insane directional button commands, thus making your combos fail or an opening for opponent to strike which would be fatal (jinpachi anyone?)
What i am trying to say is what is your ideal fighting game or controller? All comments are accepted and hopefully someone might change the fact that we wouldnt have to go to the arcade to play or have a sore thumb in each rounds.

Motal Kombat w/ joystick and button combo
Motal Kombat has some nice span of combos imo. Ranging from 3 button combo and up. Nothing like some of the insane stuff you have to put in for Blazblue or Soulcalibur.

Hmm, you can say I'm an expert at all the Tekkan games. My favorite characters to use are:
1. Devil Jin
2. King
3. Steve Fox
As you know, these characters, especially Steve Fox, require swift and accurate controls with the controller. (I play with PS2). If you don't want pain on your hands and your fingers, I suggest you try holding the controller differently.
For example, instead of using your right thumb to press the OXã…â–³, Try using your index finger and your middle finger. The basic right hand position for me when I'm playing is my right index finger on the ã… button and the middle finger on the â–³ button. This looks kind of ridiculous when playing, but it is really comfortable and works best for me. :D

And I too cannot play furthur series. :'(
I think the only way to beat Jinpachi is by using repetitive, but yet effective moves. Like Devil Jin's laser, Yoshimitsu's healing technique, and Steve Fox's continuous attacks.

Azazel from Tekken 6 was more of a bitch literally.
--don't try to de-rail your own thread lol----
about the pain and injuries you get from playing like a possessed gamer, it was obvious. Even if each console has their warnings, we won't really abide it and play with our own way. majorly and usually the Destructive Way whether that you was forced to play to win or you just have issues with playing hard core.

The only pain that I got is at the side of my thumbs.
I got this alot from playing guilty gear on the PC(yes the PC) and the psp version.
I swear I broke the analog stick on the psp when I used sol badguy lol

I remember getting finger pains from playing Guilty Gear(PS1) all day.
Freaking D-pad but oh well, still a fun game.

And that's why I hate Tekken. But Soul Calibur's combos are easy on the fingers, so I love Soul Calibur.

If you wan to have an easy win against azazel, use the female characters instead.
Seriously I just spammed forward circle and azazel kept taking it lol.

All I hate of Azazel, is it's "Auto guard"
I was like "Kick (Expects to get a good start combo) -> Auto blocks -> RAGE
I rather like fighting Jinpachi, since I'm like fighting a real person No Patterns.

Blazblue has its moments with their combos, and if your a master at it it can really put a strain on your fingers.
Edit: Whoops, forgot to add I play on a ps3 controller!

Fingers hurting from playing on pad?
Buy an arcade stick. Problem solved.
And for people thinking BlazBlue is execution heavy... that's one of the least technically demanding games out.. never, EVER touch Guilty Gear if you have problems with BB.
